Good Job Media Team. I think all the social media tags are a bit much when watching the show, i do understand why you are doing it though. None the less, Great Job! Love the quality and the multiple angles.
We don't live in this world the way it is but once, live the best you can in the lord so once we fall asleep we will wake up again never to die any more. If a person wants an education go get one, at the school of their choice, take two years at a junior college where it is much cheaper then go to the four year college to finish up, that is the smart thing to do it doesn't matter what no one thinks. It is nice to see people of color having a great time at Tuskegee University where so many great things for black people begin.
Wow what a change. New drums as well. About time. Now to get the band up on numbers. Compare to a year ago to two years ago. I couldn’t even watch the band. This is so much better. Keep on Growing Tuskegee!
This is my take on the rendition of the song on my mama. I like the style of this arrangement. It has ah r&b/new orleans jazz mix.BUT I feel the tempo is too fast or too Complicated for this group of musicians. Bones, melos,& trumpets seem to be fighting to play the piece of music on tempo and know when to breathe. And the whole percussion section is playing so fast and loud the auxiliary dance group is falling behide and it shows. The point of it all is you make the arrangement your own. Slow the tempo alittle no need to rush, percussion slow down and compliment the horn sections and not out play the horns balance is key. And most of all practice in all sectionals is a must in order to make this arrangement here smooth as slik. Take pride in all you do if the selection piece is not ready dont play it too its right and tight. Im a big fan is small hbcu bands. And one thing i know is when your small you have to have great musicianship. Play together play clean and play with confidence and you will shock the fans. I see promise with the band. Hope to see another video of this band later in the month as they clean this up alittle pit.
