@@derrickburwell7777 Little (lone) Drummer Boy (reference: The Drummer Boy of Shiloh). Genesis 49:10, "The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor a Lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come. And the obedience of the people's to him" (NKJV). (Note: this is in reference to our Lord who is both High Priest and King.) Also reference Solemn marches in the military and Beethoven's funeral marches. There are marches announcing the King and other processions (note Louisiana's Fat Tuesday and funeral marches which have a long history and tradition). Hope this helps and wasn't too tedious. It is a long research that goes back to at least the ancient Kings of Israel (King David's March into Zion and the Book of Psalms played to specific music (see beginning of the verses). Hope this helps in the start of this research.
@@valeriewickerson-august7474 I appreciate your reply. But, I thought that you were talking about the history of the band, or when/why the band starting using it. I know about military marches. I've played percussion for several Army base bands and have taught the Queen Anne step to multiple JROTC and ROTC drill teams that I've coached over the years. I also know what it says in the Bible, I've been a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ since 2016. Thank you for sharing your wisdom because, even though I misunderstood you, there may be others who didn't know these things. Have a blessed weekend!
You say the Girls look rough but that's where you have to start from. As long as you got heart and the skill [meet the American Standard of Dance, which most of the other people from Tuskegee can't, so you are going to hate them which this video plainly shows]. You people out there shouldn't try and sabotage these young peoples attempt to escape this environment. I recommend they keep working at it and perform for no more than 2 years [the women, not the band].
@@ticktock1861 I would hope being a future leader is not a motivating force for their performance. We all have our opinions and it's nice that you shared yours. Good to know where people's heads are.
