Welcome to Rev It Up Bowling!! A premium bowling channel to showcase all aspects of bowling. Our goal is to connect the bowling community with educational, competitive, and fun content.
My name is Jayson Robarge, Owner/Operator of Rev It Up Pro Shop in Anchorage, Alaska. I am absolutely obsessed with the sport of bowling. I've been bowling for the entirety of my life. Starting in youth then eventually going to Lindenwood University and now running a pro shop in Anchorage. I hope you decide to follow my bowling journey as I hope to educate, entertain, and grow the sport of bowling.
Holy wow! That thing went full tilt like a peterbilt! Okay now im interested in this one. You said "fir me" i see Lindenwood in your profile... St. Louis metro? 🤔 😂
"Rev it up" As a high rev bowler, you have my attention based on name alone. 😂🤘 I enjoy DV8's releases. Wanted the h8er and saw this drop, definitely torn given how it looked for The Hype. Edit: all the splits im seeing 😬 i put 500 grit on every ball i get... so maybe surface is the answer for this thing...?
Super super great video Jason, I mean everything was covered on the ball. Now I know much more about the ball. I got 1 of MO’s production ball last year and now I am going to get this one being his last core. I like your videos because of all the techniques you explain and all the numbers up top from the ball. It’s the best ball video that I will enjoy watching them.
Outstanding video and great perspective on this ball. I really like that you mention that this can be used as a ball to play more down and in with. Knowing that this is such a big ball, everyone would have expected to play this ball from deep inside and would have been upset that this would not turn the corner.
Killer video and killer ball wait till you get a review on the New Brunswick Mesmerize tri core four color ball looks sick keep up the great videos👍👍👍 Or check out the new messenger
Love your simplified content and un-biased opinion(s) which helps me greatly in my new bowling endeavors. Question? I bowl on my local league with typical house shot. What benchmark balls pearl, solid etc. would you recommend?
I put a 5x60 layout on my Rattler NU, and love it. Just stay up the back, roll it, and it's so smooth. A little longer, and littler stronger, but a few boards weaker overall, than my Black 78. Much better on the house shot as a 2H bowler than the Black 78.
If you and/or your team having higher Rev rates, getting left sooner than you think may be beneficial. My team just didn’t move left quick enough. So whatever ball you like to create a smoother midlane left to right motion, go with that. I would say the Wicked would work if you need some help making that corner. Or a mid range symm that reads the midlane some. On fresh, just play for 9 and grind it out until your team broke it down some. Then once it breaks down, you can open the lane up some. Depending on your team, this seemed to happen somewhere in the 2nd game.
For the colors on Brunswick balls, that’s also thanks to hk22, it was mainly created for performance, but it also enhances the colors of the ball as well
I have the drillings very different but the Wicked responds much more quicker than the Effect. I think if the drillings were the same, I’d say they’re pretty damn close but will still have some differences but adjusting surface will help.
I will be posting a video on the Max Bias shortly. From my early findings, the Max Bias seeing the midlane more and doesn’t transition as quickly. As far as hook potential, both balls cover a lot of boards, however, the Max is slightly more. I can see those two balls complement each other well for your strong ball slots in your arsenal
60 bowlers for a sport league is fantastic! I bowled a sport league for five years and we could barely get 20 bowlers to show up, and they usually were the same 20 every season.
Hi! Thanks for this video. I have a question, If the ball stays in the car (hot place) not for too long but enough to bring the oil out to the cover stock, just wipe it and use the oil remover? Would this kinda be like a rejuvenating process?
I would just clean it good with a ball cleaner. Get the oil off the top of the coverstock. But you’re right, the rejuvenators that use heat is a very similar process. Just much easier to control the temp. To much heat and it’ll cause problems with the ball
To me your show is great & great for me. As a bowler right handed for 28 years the last 3 years I’ve been bowling left handed which wasn’t a plan deal. But Jason thanks for your on line video training
Bowling on this next week. I don't have a urethane, but I do have a new Conspiracy drilled pin up. The other balls I was considering taking are the Motiv Black Venom and putting surface on it (500 or 1000?), and putting a similar amount of surface on my IQ Ruby and/or Xponent. Think any of those will be playable, or is it better to just invest in a urethane to save myself the headache?
Hi, Truly love your content and Bowling Experience! I, bowl typically on a local house shot. Question? Non brand biased! What ball do you recommend? My ball speed is medium with a high rev rate! Regards Bruce SF Bay Area, CA.
