I like how that even when SE4 was out people are complaining that 3 was better, now that SE5 is out people complain that 4 was better. Why do the loudest vocal minorities often have the worst taste

Apart from the weapons upgrades, NONE of these features were reintroduced were they ? 😀

It may sound a little bit stupid among so many good ideas but I´d really like to see the ability to holster weapons. Also, it would nice to be able to use nazi uniforms in some situations.

I appreciate your never ending enthusiasm for the game. Even though I loathed it and uninstalled it 2 years ago, the very fact that i'm here, shows that I want to love it. And your passion for the game has just about convinced me to reinstall it and give it another go, and try and see it through your eyes.

I am excited about a new game but the thought of doing timed objectives turns me off. I do not handle time critical objectives well. They stress me out and I really don't like them.

first off, this is brilliant (as usual). it was clear right away to any veteran of the series that the devs in SE5 were not present for previous versions. after playing authentic 3 playthroughs, i'm playing the dlc on one life and loving it. right off i saw many more enemies on the map than i was used to, and loved it (as suggested by BB). "make killing the officer important" is aka 'Wolfenstein'. i get the feeling the devs made authentic a difficulty they could handle, thinking the hardcore players would like it??? no. for some players, the harder the better. if the devs don't hire this guy at the least to consult, we may be in trouble. thanks BB!

All excellent points. But the big one for me is to REMOVE THE INVISIBLE BARRIERS AND BRING BACK THE OPEN WORLD FROM SE4 !!!!!

I hope in this game we can hold two main rifles a heavy tank buster and our normal sniper and still carry a side arm and machine gun.

Using the "pandemic" as an excuse for the shortcomings of SE5, held water only until they announced 'Resistance' -- an asset flip that, so far, looks rather buggy. Today, that excuse is weak... But, time will tell if '5' marks the series' decline.

I’m hoping there will be difficulty options to the abundance of ammo and resources found in a level. Sniper elite five, it was just way too much, so you never really had scavenge, least of all use that scavenger perk. I want a more survival type experience where I really have to manage my ammo reserves, pick my shots, and really have a purpose in exploring and scavenging for resources, especially looting dead bodies et cetera.

So it's really just a SE5 DLC

All I wanted was the M1 Garand and the BAR as usable weapons

Wow, I think contrary feelings. War Factory, Occupied Residence and Spy Academy were my favourites when I played the game and both Kraken Awakes and Secret Weapons were the least fun to me ;) I have not yet played any DLCs tho.

I hope the maps have a lot more enemies in their levels. It really spoils the atmosphere of the game when they are sparsely populated.

A smoke grenade would be great, although I'm not sure that's what this is. The lines look like they indicate shockwaves rather than smoke. Have the MK3 and/or its successors the MK3A1 and MK3A2 appeared in a Sniper Elite game yet? Originally invented in 1918, the MK3 was designed to produce a greater overpressure, aka shockwave, than the ordinary fragmentation grenade when used in confined spaces. Obviously, in this video Rebellion isn't using this type of grenade in the setting it was designed for ( like a bunker, where the overpressure could stun or even kill) but maybe that's just because they wanted to tease a new grenade but not show off a new level or a new portion of a level yet.

I plan on buying it anyway but am I the only one finding it hard to warm to Harry Hawker?

For all the food assets in the game, they could've featured stray animals that you could befriend and give you a further sense radius until they got scared off by gunfire. Maybe Let karl make sandwiches to use as minor health supplements and lures to distract enemies.

I can't be the only one who really would like to see more or at least new melee takedown animations. We had the same for ages now... plus they are buggy... I preordered 5 bit I think I might grab this in a sale, as I really do not see enough differences to justify full price for me

I enjoyed SE5 but found the movement clunky with lots of broken animations. Pretty disappointed to see all the same issues here. Looking much more forward to Atomfall. Maybe the new option for the grenade is an impact grenade? Explodes on contact?
