I'm scheduled to have my implants removed, I've had them in for 15 years. The fatigue and memory problems I've experienced during this time are so severe and debilitating that I honestly don't think I will ever fully recover or heal. My twenties and early thirties were basically stolen from me because I was so sick. My implants nearly ruined my life completely and I don't know if it's even possible for me to ever be healthy again.

I had my implants removed six weeks ago - and there is a huge difference!! I don’t have that deep feeling of exhaustion anymore - yes I’m tired from the surgery and going back to work but it is very different from that deep exhaustion that felt like I was about to get the flu - from 2014 to now 2023 - that is gone. OMG This describes exactly how I presented after living with silicone breast implants. I had a explant and capsulectomy. I have continued with symptoms despite the removal. Over the last 3-4 years, I have seen such an increase in reporting of this immune problem.

I have it and mine is serious torture. Other Dr.'s downplay it saying if you catch it early when you didn't even know they caused cancer. Many Dr.s aren't aware either and don't do the cd30 test. I'm shocked that I'm getting taken down by a boob job.

I am going through this right now and appreciate this conversation as it brings comfort to know that there is a reason for this. I know there’s not many of you out there in the medical community that’s open minded and brave enough to speak amongst their colleagues and not worry about the opinion of what they might say about you. I have Allergan and I have severe neurological problems along with many other Health issues to many to list in this post I actually have an amazing neurologist that recognizes this to be a problem I didn’t even have to convince him of it which I’m sure you know many of your patients probably have to try to convince their other doctors to even listen to them about it being a problem. Thank you for speaking up for us ladies and our families that are suffering with us that don’t get to have us function at 100% the way we should be. Keep up the good work and just know you truly amaze me!!

That is because in my state, no doubt others are too. they using the EHR system to cover up malpractice.. I am dying due to manipulation of images given to me after I went and got my records.. I found the radiologist reports Don't match imagines.. omiting imagines omitting W.H.O bone density reporting.. they knew for years something was wrong.. mine lied to me. Only requested a x - Ray of ribs only.

What do the breasts look like when the implants have been removed? Do they look presentable or at least attractive or are they disfigured, saggy and just empty sacks left behind?

I’ve been thinking that other foreign object insertion type surgeries (hip replacement, etc.) lead to the same symptoms. Perhaps it’s disregarded as the patient getting older.

I have 410 textured cohesive implants. I've had pain almost the entire time I've had them. Over the past year, I've began to notice lumps in my left breast. I had a mammogram and breast ultrasound last week, and I was told both my implants show signs of rupture. The ruptures were seen on the breast ultrasound as well as the mammogram. I think I now have bia-alcl. I even got thrush in my mouth, and I also have sores on my scalp that won't heal. I know a normal adult doesn't get thrush unless she is immunocompromised. So these symptoms are very concerning that I do indeed have alcl. In addition, my liver enzymes are elevated and I'm nauseous daily. I have no energy, and I feel like I'm getting sicker everyday. So, I disagree about the fact gummy bears don't rupture. I'm the example. I can't afford a biopsy, so I feel like I'm being left to possibly die if I don't get help soon.

I've just started putting the pieces together on these chronic illnesses I have - mostly fatigue, muscle soreness, memory loss, fibromyalgia, etc., Looking back, they all started after I had implants. I'm having them removed this month!

This makes me cry. I am suffering from BII and can not find a Dr in New Mexico that believes in it. The Drs keep telling me I can just take out the implant and leave the capsules but then I read that there can be complications if left behind. It's so scary because we as women don't know who to trust.! A lot of us being told there's nothing wrong, were depressed or it's in our head when it's clearly not. I need my Implants out asap but unfortunately I can not afford the cost to fly out to Dr Chun or to finance the surgery. if I had known about this year's ago when I implanted I would have never done it! This is completely ruining my life!! I pray to God that I will get these toxic things out and begin to live my life again. Thanks Dr chun. Oh Lord, I think mine are starting to be affecting me. I got saline implants after being told they vid scrape my beats or to keep me from getting breast cancer... Back in 1981. I don't have any money to get anything done the best I have an so is just tell my executor to have them check mine after I'm dead. 😢

I have BII. Explanted 2015. Saw improvement right after explant, but still very unwell. We need justice!!! How to improve my health now? Did chelation therapy for years, still not there. Feel like I've hit a wall.

Since having my sailing implants put in 20 years ago at age 40 in the first 10 years I started experiencing developing food sensitivities and allergies the second 10 years has been recurring depression physical fatigue with no explanation was not going through any emotional stress. I did wait too long to get them out however I’m glad that I’m getting an explant on December 19. I’m hoping that my symptoms will all go away prior to my implants being put in I had absolutely no depression fatigue or food sensitivities ever. I had situational anxiety from time to time but no food sensitivities no fatigue and no unexplained depression. Also my thyroid has acted up in the last 10 years. I’ve had a hard time regulating it and now I believe it’s due to the implants. I will be monitoring myself after the explant to see what happens. My symptoms are some of the ones that women have.
