Wow, it's been a long time since I heard from your team. It was great to see the video update from your team. It looks like you’re working hard and making progress. It's a pity I'm not in your country, as collaborating with your team would be very interesting. Keep up the good work, and I look forward to more updates from you.

Old idea. The minute amount of added lift the curved wing provides is not worth the extra weight and expense.

When the channel wing was first patented by William Custer in 1929, the state of aircraft construction, avionics, and flight control technology was nothing like it is today. Modern advances in digital flight control systems, electric propulsion, and composite construction have finally made the channel wing a safe and viable way to provide distinct performance benefits to VTOL aircraft.

How about for large scale 4 seatars use a generator and make it quick within these couple months, cz I've personally been a fan of JETSON ONE but their ultimate goal is fun time...hence ive been reminiscing about a manned evtol with wings but without making it look plane like but can change to drone flight mode or plane for faster travel and more air resistance control....seen many others full scaled evtol but they're either too stupid ,looking or just a plane with drone motors...this design on the other hand compared to others a lot better.

Thank you for the comment - HopFlyt actively working to integrate generator systems into future aircraft, and is excited for the opportunity to use similar technology in manned aircraft. Please stay tuned!

what is the ultimate goal of this testing?

This flight testing effort gains our team a few insights: First, it helps us to characterize Squall's flight dynamics in order to improve flying qualities and control laws, and ultimately enable fully autonomous operations. It also allows us to validate and improve aircraft performance models to optimize efficiencies. Finally, it informs future design considerations as we build larger aircraft.

@@ThatOpalGuy Our manned aircraft concept, Venturi, is designed as a 4 seat aircraft. However, HopFlyt is using this technology to simultaneously develop small to medium size UAS for the unmanned market. Check out our website, HopFlyt.com, to learn more about the manned aircraft concept.

@@hopflyt My only problem with flying cars is that, given the current technology, they will be far noisier than automobiles.
