Hi jess i wanted to share a screenshot with you too, i got tip baited 3 days ago on july 7th, on a really heavy order, 6 packs of 40 counts of water, sweet tea packs....etc, the guy was high 40s in a wheelchair , i thought i was doing him a favor and helping , we chatted, it was 110 degrees here in Modesto, California, super hot, , next day i wake up to all tip zereod out after carrying all this to him, i was furious, what a miserable, misleading , psycho clown customer P.s it's not allowing me to share the screenshot , but I tried to explain everything
Great vlog. Was his tip on a percentage, I know when I did instacart tips could change due to price differences, but $7 is a big drop. Keep up the great work, you are always so kind and courteous.
Looks like you didn't use a insulated bag for the perishables on that Curbside pickup. Maybe Customers are seeing that when you drop off Groceries. That could affect your tips.
@@WWDB71 I would hope customers wouldn’t be that picky plus there is no way he could have seen if I had one in my car and just pulled the groceries from that. I did recently buy a big one, though, so we will see.
I think that sometimes the Walmart app might automatically reduce the tip (if they did a %) if there was a return or there was an item missing, if that makes sense...I think Instacart does it too.... I could be wrong on the Walmart Spark ones but don't let it discourage you too much I have only been tip baited once on UberEats.... and the restaurant just took forever and then I was still 8 miles away.... I had an Uber where I think there was an issue with the order and the tip went away for 24 hours but then it came back when the issue was resolved on the merchant's end
I always contact support when Im missing a tip. Even though spark doesnt pay u for the missing tip, they will track the account that tip baited and if they see it happens more than 3 or 4 times, i forget the exact number, they will terminate that account.
@@24mbronc ohhhhh that’s good to know. I might actually do that because it just seems like stealing to me. Thanks for the information and thanks for watching. 🙂
when people order from walmart and its a item that they say can ship for free, so you can't tip and one of the uber drivers brings it. does wal-mart pay you for it.
@@Videogamerforlife69 I’m guessing. I see the big batch orders of 18 drops with one item each. They usually range from 40-50 but may take a couple hours. But I believe that 40-50 is all Walmart base pay.
@@RideAlongWithJess ok I always wondered since anything over $35 ships free and than I picked up on if its in stock they deliver it directly to your house next day
@@Videogamerforlife69 In my area, Uber offers those for $3-6 to take 3-4 orders and drop them off. That's 3-6 in total for all of the orders. It's base pay only.
I stopped sparking it’s been in the triple digits all last week and this week and suppsoibly the following week lol and by triple I mean more than 108 per day all the way to 116 I’m good off sparking lol ima melt lol
In my market, anytime I get a great UE offer, like $40 for 9 miles, it has already been picked up and multiple other drivers have also arrived to get it as well. Since no one else cares, I always call support to get paid a paltry sum, plus have it removed from their platform. Happened twice last week.
Girl, same! My dd acceptance rate is like 5%. I wish they would take that rate reminder down cause idc! 😂 I love those sams club orders; they're so easy, and it's relaxing just driving. As long as there are no heavy items going to Apts.
@@mayapapaya77 Haha! I really don’t know why I should care so much, I’d most likely get the same orders. Also, that’s good to know. $50-$60 isn’t bad at all for 2 or so hours of work. Maybe it’s just the mileage that scares people. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Jess, Good video! I’ll take orders for $8 going 6 miles if it is going in the direction I need to go or toward home. Do you have Grubhub in your market?
@@LandanMasuda-vq7ve that makes sense. I use to take small orders from DoorDash that paid me to drive home. I think we have grubhub here but I haven’t signed up for it. I’m kind of interested in instacart, though. I hear you can make big bucks there.
I did a same with 3 drop offs 1 apartment was locked and I had to hop through the roof to get in there apartment it was all bad but didn’t wanna return some spices when I was super close to home
