The nervous stomach when going on a somewhat intimidating delivery just because of something like the gate is why I either have my coffee and a snack or something before with plenty of time to use the bathroom first 😂 or I don’t have anything till I get back from like a couple hours Dash first. I schedule in about four blocks so if I need a break in between I still have some thing like if something comes up during one of the blocks it doesn’t ruin the whole day if it’s not busy enough to dash now for me. I hate anxiety. And Yeah it usually works out. But sometimes it can be embarrassing or take longer or both.

UberEats in my area is terrible. I’ve done some DoorDash but I always end up taking the smaller orders. I hardly ever see any double digits with either app. 😢

what on Earth....all those 2 Liters???

My other channel grew much faster but it has nothing to do with gig work. I was hoping this would grow just as fast. Oh well, I’m still new to this channel. And yes, who makes someone deliver 12 - 2 liters? People are nuts! I need to check to see if they tipped. 😅

Recently I had an angry Karen customer upset with me as she had ordered alcohol, however it was out of stock The app wouldn't allow me to complete the delivery without ID and a signature as that requirement hadn't been removed I said that it would only take a few seconds to scan her ID, which would save me a long support call, however she refused, the told me to take her entire order back as she was such a miserable Karen I still couldn't deliver my other 2 orders until I called support, so other customers had to wait I swapped orders as it was 90 degrees, putting her order into the hot trunk as her perishables couldn't be re-stocked anyway

Oh my! That sounds awful. I def will be looking more closely on the alcohol order. I told myself I did want to do one to see what it was like but hadn’t prepared myself yet. Now I know and have heard your experience and probably won’t take anymore. Thanks for sharing and thanks for watching!

I agree! Those XXL orders were not an XXL order when they were first given to me. Ugh! It makes for fun stories, though. Ha!

@@RideAlongWithJess I've gotten some small orders no larger than 3-4 items depending on what it was. However, for parcel packages I will usually get 18 packages so that's 18 stops I have to make. Before I bought my GPS, I would use google maps on my cellphone. That took longer because the battery would die quicker even if it was fully charged and I had difficulty with cellphone reception sometimes.

I live in STL and East St Louis is considered one of the most dangerous cities so probably around there. Could get scary, fast.
