Our motto is "Live today like there could be no tomorrow". We hope you enjoy our channel.
@@paulouzman7267 Hi Paul many thanks for commenting and we’re glad you enjoyed the video. You’re right I do need to invest in a body worn mic as it would definitely make the audio clearer in our videos. Keep safe. Irvine & Karen.
Aww what wonderful views. We love Arizona think its our favourite state. The hoover dam is something else and the grand canyon definatley has the wow factor. Lovely to see the Elk .Thanks for the break down in costs, this is why we are going to ship ours over especially with us being there a year!! Thanks again, we are heading to Scotland in September so will give you a shout
@@gatersontour Hi guys thanks for your kind comment. Really looking forward to watching your videos when you ship your van over as it’s something we are considering also. The scenery around the Grand Canyon was fantastic. Keep safe. Irvine & Karen.
@motorroamingaround we won't know until about January time if we get our visas!! We've had ESTAs before so should be OK. Plus we've got friends there who have sponsored us! Hate interviews lol 😆
These are just epic drives, I can only imagine how many photos Martin would take 😂. I always think doing a tour and hearing about a place from knowledgeable people is generally worth the expense as you learn so much more. Great that you can watch a cowboy film in such an iconic location. Looking forward to the Grand Canyon. Best wishes H&M. 😊
Thanks Helen. Yes Martin would be in his element here for sure. Having the Navajo guide was well worth the extra expense as it meant we got to see so much more. Just a pity that he got the truck stuck as didn’t get to complete the tour however what we did get to see was awesome. Keep safe. Irvine & Karen.
I love the opening music, I almost feel like I ought to be saddling up a horse 😂 what a stunning drive and the scenery is amazing. Great set of photos as well that added to the story . Great effort on completing the canyon trail, good for the legs 😮 and an excuse for an extra beer I think. Thanks for sharing, best wishes H&M.😊
@@HelenandMartinsTreks Thanks guys your comment is very much appreciated. The scenery was spectacular and after doing the trail there were a few extra beers for sure. Glad you enjoyed the video. Keep safe. Irvine & Karen.
Well what lovely video last time me and my wife up on Outer Hebrides 18 years ago we are going back next year 2025 some think about it so lovely. Any way keep the video coming.
@@robertirving5293 Hi Robert, thanks for your kind comment. We’re glad you enjoyed the video. Enjoy the Outer Hebrides when you get back. Keep safe. Irvine & Karen.
love it - Zion was one of our favourite national parks so bought back some great memories . How did you drive (and park) that beast of an RV?!? To be fair that is coming from the viewpoint of a VW T6 driver 🤣 It did look amazing inside though - look forward to watching the rest of your trip. Jackie and Richard x
@@earlyretirementwanderlust Thanks guys. Yes it would bring back great memories for you guys. It was such an amazing place. It wasn’t a problem driving in the big RV as the roads are much wider over there than ours so it was absolutely fine. Most of our pitches were “pull through” which made it easier. Thanks again for watching & commenting, it’s much appreciated. Keep safe. Irvine & Karen x
@@randlcars4582 Hi Andy we would recommend booking the campsites. We booked a year in advance to make sure we definitely got a pitch. The sites were all very busy particularly at Gouldings Campsite in Monument Valley and we definitely didn’t want to miss out on that site as the location is spectacular. You’ll see that in the next video. Thanks for watching and commenting, it’s much appreciated. Irvine & Karen.
Oh Wow We will definitely visit Bryce Canyon. We have done Grand canyon that was spectacular too. Love the pull through campsites The Ruby Inn looked so much fun. We would love to do the horse riding too. Can't wait to be touring over there. Thanks for sharing, Steve & Anna
@@gatersontour Hi guys we’re glad you enjoyed the video. You guys will love touring around America and we bet you can’t wait. Your trip around Canada was also fantastic. Thanks for commenting, it’s very much appreciated. Keep safe. Irvine & Karen.
@@janetclasper2845 Hi Janet, yes it was absolutely stunning. We did love Bryce Canyon for sure. You’ll need to add it to your bucket list. Take care. Irvine & Karen.
Fantastic scenery, thanks for all of the vlogs you guys post. I enjoy seeing the Highlands as i spent a lot of time in the Glencoe area before moving south in 1998. All the best, John
@@randlcars4582 Hi, I’m not sure if you watched the whole video or not but I did say in the video that it’s a 4 video series and in the last of the 4 videos we will put up a slide with the prices. Hope you enjoyed the video though. Thanks for watching. Irvine & Karen.
@@regionnorte2205 Hi and thank you for your comment. I guess we’re just lucky. We have a bucket list of places we want to visit and so far we have chosen well. Keep safe. Irvine & Karen.
Oh I've been waiting for these vlogs to come out! Looks like you had a great start to your holiday. That RV is humongous!! It looked absolutely amazing. Looking forward to your next vlog ❤ 🇺🇸
@@gatersontour Thanks for your comment guys, it’s much appreciated. The RV was amazing and very spacious indeed. Bryce Canyon was our favourite and that’s coming up in the next video. Keep safe. Irvine & Karen.
@@janetclasper2845 Thank you Janet for your kind comment. This trip was absolutely amazing and our favourite national park was Bryce Canyon which is coming up in the next video. Hope you guys are well. Keep safe Irvine & Karen.
What a great start to what will surely be an epic journey. We loved the RV, it’s amazing how much extra space is created when the sides extend. Zion National Park looked stunning. We really liked the choice of music, it certainly suited the views. Looking forward now to seeing the onward journey and more scenery. Best wishes H&M.😊
@@HelenandMartinsTreks Thanks guys for commenting, it really is appreciated. The space created once the slide outs go out is absolutely amazing. We did love Zion National Park but Bryce Canyon was our favourite and that’ll be coming up in the next video. Thanks for watching. Keep safe. Irvine & Karen.
@@craigsinnott296 Hi Craig we went to the Giants Causeway a few years ago and loved that also. We’re heading to the North os Spain for a month in September so we’re looking forward to that.
We have been to Tarbet its beautiful. Ive added Loch Fyne as would definatley want to visit there. Your drone shots are wonderful and the music really suits it. Thanks for sharing another lovely vlog. Take care safe travels Anna and Steve
@@gatersontour Thanks for your kind comment guys, it’s very much appreciated. The drone does give a different perspective to the photography and these shots did turn out quite well. Keep safe. Irvine & Karen.
@@haggiswhisperer Cheers Graham. The last time we were at the Seafood Festival it was too windy to get the drone up so it was a bonus on this occasion.
We’re up that way in August, looks really nice, my wife’s in a wheelchair so we try and find sites within a short walk of a town so that looks ideal, and a beautiful drive to get there. Thanks
Hi, great video, you really struck it lucky with the weather. I dont usually nitpick, but lewis and harris are not separate islands but in fact one island, which is the biggest in Scotland
Hi Jim, thanks for your comment and we’re glad that you enjoyed our video. We were very lucky indeed with the weather. Yes as you say one land mass known as Lewis & Harris but according to the locals there’s a burn that separates them hence the two names. Keep safe and thanks again for watching. Irvine & Karen.
Hi Dave we’re glad you’re enjoying our videos. In this series of videos we use music from Kylie Dailey, Melanie Bell, Mia Niles & Vicki Vox. Thanks for your kind comment and please keep safe. Irvine & Karen.
