I can relate to the girl in med school, I’m in the last year of med school but even tho everybody thinks we are stressed all the time and that we don’t go out, that’s not true at all we get use to it and somehow always find free time when we want to. PS i really like the quote especially since i see my last year of med school at the dark way before arriving to the end where’s the light 💡
Hey Ahmad! Definitely, even people doing heavy courses such as Aerospace Engineering or Medicine find time to have fun 😁 Ray is a wise guy. The best of luck with the last year of med school! Don’t forget to enjoy while it lasts tho : )
Hey, i was thinking of doing physics at trinity and i was just wondering if you are able to get a part time job while completing all your coursework and studying, because ive heard its alot from a few people.
Hey!! I interviewed two guys from my course that have part time jobs in a previous video titled “Asking Trinity Students How They Make Money”. I know quite a few people in Physics that have part time jobs and they make it more than possible!!
Hey Mario your old subscriber here, The video is awesome as past videos, just a small request, may be interviewing some students from business school because I am coming to trinity for business studies.
Hey!! Just in this video I got 4 students doing BESS (Business, Economics and Social Studies). What would you be interested to know?! Congrats on getting the offer!!
@@quiztitan_092 Wow!! Coming from far away!! You will realise how cool it is to meet so many people from so many different parts of the world! My favourite thing about Trinity.
No idea how it works for international applicants. I assume it depends on the course. Some will require higher grades than others. You could try reaching out to the Trinity Global Team. They are the ones that know everything about international applicants!
Hey! Thank you so much for the tour, it wad very helpful for me. Can I ask you a question about check in timing because my flight was arriving after 8 pm. So it could be an problem to check in?
Best thing you can do is email your student accommodation asking about it! I still think that it should not be a problem but better to ask so that you do not stress out about it on the day!
If you try to self-learn a topic, for example following RU-vid or published student papers, and forums, you are really exposed to enless amounts of errors...I've seen many youtubers for beam theory and mechanics who really to gross errors, but in a very convincing way!
I think no one has mentioned this really important point on the comments! Exactly! That’s why places like Brilliant have a distinct value as they have many people doing quality control. Quality education is about “docere delectare”, making teaching fun, and also giving a high guarantee that the information is accurate and reliable!
I applied as an EU student so I had to do it through the CAO for Irish and EU students. If you are international then you apply directly to Trinity through their website I think. Here is the website for all the possible scholarships: www.tcd.ie/study/international/scholarships/undergraduate/ You should try to reach out to Trinity Global to ask about this! They will know way more than I do!
Keep up the work Mario, and I wish you the best of luck on your exams. Also, at 6:00 is one of the coolest editing tricks I've seen. Or maybe I am just easily impressed.
I hope to see you around! If not be aware that everything happens for a reason! I was not supposed to be here in the first place! I will probably organise another Freshers meet up for first years so do stay tuned : )
Heyy. I have maths only for now. I gave M1 and P1 for my AS. I plan to give my A levels on S1 and P3 while also studying the whole of further maths in one year for A Level. Do you think it's possible? I have Chem and Physics as well.
It is possible although it depends to what extent are you willing to sacrifice free time. I would recommend you to go for it and give it your best! It is such a cool subject. Unlike any other stuff covered in school. I have had comments from people that asked me the same thing and managed to study the whole Further Maths in less than a year. Hope that helps! I still owe lots to the subject! Taught me how hard courses can be the most rewarding and exciting!
So this is the CAO application for Irish/EU/EEA students. There are rounds where any offers that have not been taken are sent down to the next people down the list of best grades! There are usually a maximum of 5 rounds but usually there’s not more than 2nd round as most courses are really competitive and almost no one would not accept the offer. I was lucky in that sense. Ufff. What a stroke of luck P.S. They come out at the end of August now I think. It was worst for me because it was still “pandemic” and everything was slower
I'm 16 (italian) and this summer I'm going on a 3 week campus in Trinity College and this banger just showed up, great video (except for that pesto pasta part lol)! I was wondering if there are any trees in the campus where I can set up my gymnastic rings
Buonasera! Thank you, Lorenzo! That’s so cool! Didn’t know they had any summer programs!! Are you staying on campus then or somewhere else? Oh yeah, I knew some Italian would end up watching so I’m really sorry about the chicken and pasta. But one also has to eat protein, you know, and chicken with pesto tastes great so yeah 😓😂 There are lots of trees and lots of spaces where you could probably find a suitable spot! I think so! No one would mind!
@@MarioFabelo Thank you so much for your reply bro, I appreciate your time. We're going to stay in the campus and we're going to sleep in the Trinity College Hall accomodations or something like that. (Btw I understand the struggles of getting enough protein in as a student 😂). Will I have the chance to see you there or are you going back to your family?
Do you still use it? If so, do you think your view of Brilliant has changed? And I would like to know if possible what you would consider the level of knowledge that they provide, for example, do they reach to complex theoritical concepts or it provides mostly about the basic formulas and principles? Also, do they have courses about Quantum Physics and Chemistry?
I do! So basically this semester I have Vector Calculus. It’s a pretty tough subject but I saw that they had a course of Vector Calculus on Brilliant with quite a lot of classes. So to this day I have done the first classes on that course because I had trouble understanding parametrisations and the intuition behind the curl and the divergence. I’ve been quite disastrous with time and now I’m cramming for the exam in one week and a half. So right now I’m not focusing on Brilliant and I’m using Khan Academy instead as they are videos (easier for me to consume) and they are more oriented towards exam questions. However, I think that Brilliant is truly great and for me it is a really powerful tool to use throughout the term to understand the content really before focusing on exam practice. I don’t think they yet have a course on Quantum Physics but they’ll probably have one soon as they are adding lots of courses these days. Brilliant is by no means basic. It is actually quite difficult as it truly makes you think about the problem solving behind a concept. Not just use the formula. Most classes are about an example fictional situation that they use to end up deriving the theorem. If you can afford Brilliant, then I think that it is a solid product. Not as much for exam technique and practice but more about having a greater understanding and flexibility of problem solving. Hope that helps : )
I really enjoyed the insights provided by the interviewees! Definitely my favorite video on your channel now. I really think about the college fees (in general) should be looked upon. Many people are still in debt several years after college. Crazy!
Yeah, I was editing this from 11pm to 4am without a single break and time flew away. It was really interesting to edit as I was debating with myself while doing the cuts 😂
Hai sir , After completing MSc in accounting and financial management in Ireland for atleast 4 to 5 years after that incase we move back to India for some reason , is it possible to get a job in India with high paying jobs
If you want me to be completely honest, I have no idea about the MSc in Finance and even less about the job market in India. It will definitely be well regarded though!
I picked up Brilliant to learn more about the basics of computer science theory. I am 36 y/o working in Sales Enablement for tech companies (Systems Admin, L&D, General Digital Media Production). I found the concepts presented to be easy to understand, and this drove me to a more systematic approach to AI prompt design for repeatability. I leveraged my experiments based on the brilliant course lessons to develop a fruitful partnership with GPT4, Product Marketing, and Operations Staff to create context for marketing collateral and suggested next steps for our sales team to follow up with leads and move deals forward. Furthermore, I used Brilliant's Mathematical Thinking Learning Path Courses 1 & 2 (Everyday Math & Mathematical Fundamentals) to brush up my basic math skills to score in the 70th percentile on a CCAT Pre-Employment Assessment. Before starting the brilliant course, my pre-test on the CCAT was 38th percentile. In summary, you are ABSOLUTELY on point with your analysis. Brilliant inspires curiosity by helping the student think critically about the underlying theories behind stem topics. Lastly way they have designed there learning paths, courses and lessons is a master class in and of itself on adult learning best practices. I would recommend the platform to students and life-long learners alike!
P.S. now I am using brilliant to reclaim the lost mathematical reasoning skills that have been lost to two decades in the workforce so that I can deepen my understanding of statistics and data analysis. Its fun and deepens my logical and critical thinking skills, something I need as I progress in my career. Adapt and overcome.
"A-Level Student"?? Wow I guess so must be something special. This also means you will be very successful in real life as well and it makes you think you are among elites huh? Let's see how your life turns out as you get out of your parent's house and go into the real world.
Nicely shot video! I’m planning to get my masters done at TCD. Where can I find a single studio budget apartment and what would be the average cost since you have been living there for quite sometime now. Any response would be much appreciated !!!
Hey! It depends on what you want to go for and where you end up having the chance to move to. Private student accommodation have studio apartments but they are generally pretty expensive. If not the other option is to try to find a rent through Daft.ie or any other website (there are a few more I think). It's not by any means easy to find a place but if you insist you might get lucky!
Yeah, why not. I still don’t like that they have extended their contracts to 51 weeks to force people to pay for the summer just because the demand is so high and they can do whatever they want. I have been in both Yugo and Aparto and they feel the same tbh
@@juleneidhart1165 Oh and I didn’t answer to your question about the area. Well, it’s at the end of Parnell street. Not the best area tbh. Walking around there at night never feels too safe and I have seen really weird and scary stuff when I have walked to O’Connell to catch a bus to the airport for an early flight. I’m moving out to Nideo Ardee Point next year in search of a more chill area and still close to campus.
They do have Contest Math I and Contest Math II as part of their courses! They are at the level of the AMC 10 and 12 of the Mathematical Association of America : )
Yes! I will be applying both :) I am still thinking, I want to do English, Foklore and Creaive writing. I have no idea which one to choose, the best for me would be to have little bit of every single one. This is the hard part now@@MarioFabelo
@@AdrianasWonderland Hmm, it's never easy to choose. I always had a dilemma between Maths and Physics. Now I'm glad I don’t have to go as deep into Maths as the mathematicians. Just go for whatever sounds more promising or exciting : )
Mario, can I make a request for a new video? I'm an international student considering postgraduate studies, and it might be interesting to see how that life differs. (Extra points for PhD level students in Politics or Economics).
Hey! I’ll definitely consider give it a thought but it sounds like a difficult thing for me to manage to document a PhD’s life, especially in Politics & Economics but thanks for the suggestion 😄
Is not worth it, you only pay for nice graphics - the knowledge is at high-school level, and there are a plenty of mistakes. Once reported they are corrected, but still I have a sense that it was made by young people who only visualized their school books.
Hey your content is amazing. I was just curious to know if spain schools have cafeteria and do they have specific uniform. I hope you please answer because that will be so much helpful since we will move to spain this year☺️
Thank you! It depends on the school I suppose. There’s usually a place to have lunch but not necessarily a cafeteria. It depends on whether private, half private or public as well and the area of Spain!
