I use the Sony ZV1 but I made my first 21 videos using my iPhone 6s. Yeah, everyone can film decent videos on their phone. So if you want to start making videos yourself, just get started with your phone.

Oh wow, that’s so cool! What masters will you be doing? There’s a really nice community! The lighting of the Christmas tree one week ago in the front square was full of students and the vibes were immaculate!

If you are debating between UCD and Trinity, would you apply for housing before you’ve decided? There’s no cancellation fee or offer acceptance requirement?

There’s no fee of any kind. If you get the place there you can go if you get offered an accommodation room! Apply to both Trinity Halls and UCD accommodation!

He's seriously one of my favourite professors so far, not kidding! I did not miss a single lecture from him!

@@MarioFabelo Well he doesn’t have any slides so it’s not optimal to miss his lectures. Otherwise he’s nice but I hear lots of people complaining about him not being very clear

I kind of like it that way! I think people just complain because they can’t bother enough to attend a lecture at 5pm on Thursday at the BioMed building after Physics labs. I have to admit that it was tough 😓😂

Para los estudiantes españoles, en la web del Trinity hablan de haber cursado "six distinct recognised subjects". Sé que hiciste A Levels pero ¿sabes si realmente tengo que haber cursado "seis asignaturas reconocidas" o si usan la media que haya obtenido en mi modalidad de bachillerato a partir de las nueve asignaturas que ofrece el sistema español?

Me han dicho que según hicieron ellos, tú haces 9 asignaturas y te han media de las 6 mejores. Lo máximo que puedes optar es sobre 600 porque matemáticas españolas no las consideran “avanzadas”. Me han dicho también que las asignaturas obligatorias son reconocidas. Otro amigo me ha dicho que él simplemente mandó las notas y le convirtieron la media de bachillerato. Yo creo que sí haces sistema español y te curras buena nota de bachillerato es más fácil que a través del inglés, como hice yo; no tienes que hacer la EVAU (ni A Levels en mi caso) para que te cojan en Irlanda y según me dicen no es muy difícil tener nota alta de bachillerato. Y también tenéis la ventaja de ya saber vuestra nota al haber terminado bachillerato, yo no supe mis notas hasta finales de agosto y es un estrés. Espero que eso te ayude, María! Cualquier otra cosa pregúntame y yo les pregunto a los que vienen de sistema español : )

Sí, por lo que he estado viendo resulta bastante más fácil acceder a la universidad en Irlanda desde el sistema español. ¿La media la hacen siempre con matemáticas, inglés y otro idioma (las que tienes que haber haber cursado) o te cogen simplemente las 6 mejores? Y con asignaturas obligatorias entiendo que te refieres a las que son comunes para todos los bachilleratos, ¿no? Esto ya sería lo último, y muchísimas gracias otra vez que estaba un poco perdida con todo jajaj

In first part of video about grades , they all answer'd in terms of 550, 545 points . I'm from india , i have percentage system . What are those points ?

CAO points are out of 625. My friends grades were converted to CAO as they are EU students. As an international the grade isn’t the only thing they take account. They also ask for a personal statement. Therefore, as an international, you are not just a number which I think is way better and enables you to get in even if you may not have the best grade!

Did you apply for any scholarships? and do you attend any classes at trinty to help you to deal with academic english?

You can apply to SUSI grants if you’re Irish. If the not only other option I know about is earning scholarship on the scholar exams in 2nd year! Do search for more info because there’s many opportunities out there!

How long did it take for all of you to get an offer letter??

As we’re EU Students we applied through cao.ie (same as Irish Students). The key dates are on the website. If youre applying as an international student there are other deadlines. Hope that helps : )

@@bobanalex7036 there’s no such thing as offer letters for Irish and EU. It’s just whether or not you are accepted on the day of the First Round. There are multiple rounds (I got in 4th Round somehow)
