Hi Ben, I've been watching your reviews as part of my research into planting a rose garden. You mention the height is over 5ft, is the width about the same? Thanks!
Question for you, In your opinion, what are the best climbing roses that perform well even in shadier conditions I'm looking to plant one that will be a taller climber. Thankyou! 😊
@@annbrodzinski5707 my best climbing selection will be posted in a few weeks for a shady spot take a look at “ Mary Delany” “the pilgrim’ and ‘James Galway’
@@the_gardenerbenthank you Ben! I found some sellers online but really pricey and unsure if genuine - £100 plus! I will try and search under Ausbernard too ☺️
@@piglet2486 I know it feels like it was retired a lifetime ago but it was only three years ago. This plant was put out of production by david Austin roses it will take at least four or maybe five years for it to become available grown under its other name still under Licence by reputable growers. As it takes an excess of three gears to produce one plant in the ground
@@the_gardenerben oh sorry I missed it. Your video has a different orientation for me. The CC is usually at the bottom right. User error. Thanks for your efforts!
Thank you so much for making these, it’s so difficult discerning which shade to buy when one has limited budget and space by viewing online! So many beautiful roses, it’s so difficult to pick just a few! Cheers
@@thesummerland6165 you are most welcome thank you for watching and that is the exact reason why these videos were created and all of my own personal reviews to give you the best most balanced and natural opinion I can to enable you to spend your money as wisely as possible
Favolosi questi elicrisi ornamentali ❤li ho tenuti anch io e di sicuro fanno la loro porca figura x anni se tenuti bene in casa 🏠. Eccellente scelta x chi ama i fiori secchi da conservare .
Hi Ben its joey that silly annoying little lad you took on in your sandwich shop maybe 12 years ago! We have weirdly gone similar ways. I love gardening spent a few years on the queen's cousins estate in arlesford. Would love to come see the cottage and catch up with you too we have a beautiful baby to come see you too haha. Hope life is really good really happy for you Ben!
@the_gardenerben hahahaha how you remember that!!!! These videos suit you well mate well done! I don't have insta etc but il get my partner to sort it somehow. Enjoy life Ben you deserve it!
@the_gardenerben wow! I remember it like yesterday haha! Is this the cottage you got when we last spoke? The one with the long front path and you had ducks out the front? Were in Bishopstoke lovely place with the river Itchen out the back garden. I have a nice wild flower patch/veg patch and greenhouse grow quite a lot quite well hahaha. I'm a bloody good cook now too so probably have you guys over for dinner some point would be cool to catch up on where we've gone and what we've done. Can also pic your brains on these symbiotic relationships between plants and fungi etc that's kinda my next learning curve I want to go on. Enjoy and keep safe!
@@DDinSB please don’t be sad I assure you this Rose will be available from somewhere soon. It has too much of a cult for not to be picked up. and grown for resell however this process obviously takes time
@@anabareavega4734 yes if you’re buying it from a garden centre or nursery pre-bagged you can use it on top of your planted pots however don’t use it to the full depth. I’m talking about here just give it a very thin layer maybe around an inch or two
