So true and well explained from all perspectives. After high school my parents pushed me towards AIEEE & NEET exams cause they didn't know that one could earn a better livelihood in other fields as well. It was either those or UPSC & then getting married & staying somewhere close to them so that as a family we could be around each other. I had a huge fight with them after I quit engg. It just didn't feel like me. I filled out the form for a Fine Arts college as far as I could find from home. I moved to Bangalore. Aced in all subjects. Was the topper. Then got into Masters program at NID, Ahmedabad. Was earning close to 100K $ living in India as a UX Writer & a Designer. That changed my parents perspective towards career.
What you are not covering is the background behind these changes - the Australian government has seen a spike in the number of “students” with fake credentials coming from India and, after a few weeks, they vanish from the universities. The Aussies flagged applicants from certain states - Punjabi, UP, Bihar, Gujarat and a couple of other states. After Modi’s visit to Sydney last year primarily to address the Indian diaspora there, Gujarat was removed from this banned list.
fantastic info and field research. I want to draw your attention to the "petty theft' robbers to let go? yes. One Andhra student working in a store prevented a shoplifting, by attacking the thief. The Judge let go the thief free, but this brave student who stopped the theft got a 15-year jail sentence. Pl try to focus this story for your further research.
This is one side of the story. Many workers don't want regulated hours as it enables them to work in lot more houses than they currently do.. Regulated work would also mean , that should a maid not come for work consistently then youd also be allowed to dock pay . ( Assuming that the wages are pro rated ). In Hongkong, there are strict laws as well , however many are flouted by both , the maids as well as their owners as it benefits both. The problem also is that there's no punishment even if things are reported. For example, not too long ago a BJP spokesperson had been arrested for torturing her domestic help. She was finally outed by her son. While she had some cases registered against her , there was no outcome .
परिणाम केवल सूचना से अधिक मूल्यवान होते हैं! मोदी जी की हरकतों से केवल देश विरोधी ताकते मजबूत हो रही है। मोदी जी सत्ता के लालची और हिंदू विरोधी नेता है।
All this is not happening in India is because Indian Government's most of budget is spent on so called marginalised castes and religions, on welfare schemes based on castes and reservations in institutes. Had indian government stopped all this and make india truly democratic and free, india will look much worse than usa. Believe me when i say it.
Its just been 1 month here in US, I didn't have much expectations but oh boy, now I know how luxurious life I had back home. This is no exaggeration here. One more point every place has implicit rule "avoid outdoors after dark ".
How BJP failed us? Last 10 years bank related RED tape increase so much that elderly, sick, nri or any citizens cannot even withdraw their own hard earn money from bank. My parents bank accounts get freeze every 4-6 months just because they are not online users. KYC based bank freezing itself is unconstitutional as its treated citizens like criminals. Previous government used to loot our tax money. This government started looting our own hard-earned, after-taxed money from our own bank accounts by freezing accounts using KYC rules. India has no law/rule to disclose how much money every year RBI or government banks are looting by freezing common citizens accounts money using unnecessary RED tape. Many cases Indian forced to leave the money due to increased RED tape, cost and time to withdrawal money. Not to mention about the horrors of demonetization every 3-4 years. Government can print money, but we have to earn it and government/bank started freezing accounts or demonetized just like that. So glad BJP didn't get the majority. They needed the lesson.
A very informative video, thoroughly research and its good to see someone who have been there discussion the pros and cons instead of just throwing numbers.
The American dream has always been just that- a dream. It was never a reality. The recent spate of killings of Indian students there and various other social and political tensions don't make it the ideal place for Indians any more. India is where all the opportunities are and will be for many decades to come, until our demographic dividend exists
They do this in the other western countries too, they’re known for it in lots of countries and it’s not just India, it’s Bangladesh and Pakistan too but to a lesser extent because most universities reject them
Incomplete and misleading image. I have been working and living in california in a beautiful cottage in Serramonte with 2 other friends, for 1k a month per person. I am 26 years old and saving 20-25L~ a year, and yes my salary is 120K. I'm quite happy here with my lifestyle which is far far lavish than my lifestyle with 12LPA in India a couple of years ago. Great video for TRP in India, but what's true is true. There is a reason people who get on-site for a couple of years switch companies while they are here once their projects are about to end. No hate :)
When you added saving to India, the Salary suddenly stop up to 40L from 10L lol. And this is the salary senior IT engineers at Microsoft India get after like 10 YOE. And in SF, you are able to make that much in a random shitty IT company on an Entry role. So yeah, this is why people want to work in US. And this reason remains.
Modi has sold india to people like Adani, and Ambani. Name one thing modi has done for you?? Don’t list the space program. India has very high inflation and unemployment. What’s Modi’s plan to solve that? Does he even have one?
kuch bhi ... she lacks research in these videos... 7 lakh H1b, majority applications are from IT firms in India ... have them stop applying for H1B for people sitting in India. That is impacting people who want to migrate through education...
This content creator has had her share of good times in the US, and now trying to discourage people to take similar path. I wonder if she has left the country or still living there enjoying the perks whilst berating the lifestyle at the same time..
There are limited H1B visa. I know atleast 10 indians living in usa and no one talks of coming back to India. All these data she is talking in bullshit
