Should have flipped them and gave us sights down the keels. My Grumman Sportboats break rude wakes way better than my flat bottomed Grumman 17’s. They paddle ok too. Those waterline blisters on the Osagian probably makes it feel fatter than it looks.
@@peterbarlow8912 I agree with you on pushing through breaking waves. The square stern canoes, like a flat bottom jon boat are not kind in a chop. The sportboat does break waves at the front much better but it is a wet ride in the back. I can put up a video profiling the bottom for you. You can’t go wrong with either boat.
Excellent video! I found that the left side high beam was the hardest to get to. I would also recommend as a final check looking at the front of the bike through the headlight lens and make sure that you can read PATHFINDER in the 12:00 position before you reinstall the rubber boot. If you can't, that means the tab turned on you when you were installing it.
Thank you for this video as this information wasn't available anywhere else. I also did two other things. First, I cut the tab on the old flasher, as I found it impossible to be able to push it down and pull the connector off at the same time in such a tight space. Second, I epoxyed the metal piece to the top of the new flasher, as it seemed too loose and would eventually come off.
I had some left over 3,000 pound casters and 2x4s (no plywood) so I overbuilt a dolly last year. Did not have a use in mind... Just got an old SAM 1000 for free, so now moving it is solved! Thanks!
I just picked up one at an auction for $35. A bit of rust and missing one guide roller. Machined up a new roller and this is coming out nice. I love all the cast parts on such a compact saw. I rebuilt the piston with some new o-rings. Other seals were fine. Works perfectly.
Man...where were you 3 weeks ago when I had my GW 1500 apart to install new Polk speakers! Now I think I will tear it all apart and do it the RIGHT way...your way. Thanks, great info and excellent editing (from a video guy).
Thanks for the vid. Had no sound from the front even after replacing the speakers. Discovered I was missing the fader knob and in place of that there were some cables bridging the fader connectors and sound only from the rear. Had to buy a used fader control knob to get back sound from the front too.
I just picked one up today but the blade can not be adjusted to cut straight. When I twist the adjustable roller it does nothing. If anyone here has any info I would love to talk. I thought the inside rollers were worn down because of the lip on roller
Do you have anymore info on the electric motor ? Hp/rpm etc? Maybe a part number. I found one of these online with a missing motor and might pick it up since the price is really good. Just looking for some info on a possible motor replacement
I don’t see why not. If the frame under the table is clear, you could probably cut out that section and box weld in support rails and use the cutout to fabricate the removable panel. I ordered a new BOB lift so I made this video before I sold it. It was a great lift and served me well.
I like them both for different reasons. If I had to pick one or the other, I’d pick the sportboat. The sportboat functions more like a boat. The Osagian is a cargo canoe and functions like a canoe.
I just bought my first Grumman sport boat a couple days ago, brought it home, mounted a 1987Johnson 6hp on it and took it out to the lake. I may say I was totally surprise at how this boat/canoe performed. Yes, it dose need a little weight in the front end but other then that I'm super excited with this boat. I missed out on one a year or so back and I was not going to let this one pass me by. Gracias for your demo on your two boats.
Today 02/02/2022 my friend and I installed a Bushtec hitch on my 2010 GL1800. This video saved the day. Written instructions alone will not of worked for us. Video so important.
I was at a local bike shop yesterday. And a 1976 gl1000 was there. This bike had a custom intake, pic 32 carb and an original kerker 4 into 1. The shop owner claimed this bike was seriously fast. And only 41,000 on the clock.
I bought a Bushtec hitch for a 2016 F6b before Bushtec found out their earlier hitches wouldn’t fit. It’s difficult convincing a ninja master he doesn’t know something😝Also, if you have some basic electrical skills ie... reading a wiring diagram you can use a soldering iron and a four channel 12v optically isolated arduino isolation relay board for about 6 bucks on EBay
My son has a 88 goldwing and is having trouble from side to side..not front to back..could the fader be the problem?? elkins6704@gmail.com.. Thank you!
