I have a question, when the products arrive at your home, what happens re the duty (I’m also Canadian) the last time I ordered a sweater from Saks before we had it here in Toronto I had to drive he’ll & gone to pick it up and I was hit with a crazy amount of taxes, so 25 % isn’t worth it (I can’t drive anymore due to a brain tumour) I will have to go to the store & id much rather give you the chance to make something!!! So please let me know. Thanks for the chance to get a few extra days to shop.
Hi Lisa! Quick question…I really need your recommendations for some kind of primer product to address texture issues. Are you aware of anything that really actually smoothes and disguises? And then would I put spf over that primer layer or under? Or…if you think one of the Chantecaille products you mentioned would address the concern. Thanks as always, and thank you also for the early access code! How cool!
Hi, blush is my favourite thing and I’ve been using the Dior rosy glow since it came out. They changed it and it’s not so good?? Can you please recommend a substitute. I need color, I don’t wear foundation and I only like things that’s natural looking, like I wouldn’t wear sparkly blush. A couple of recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Would love a video on your cream and powder blushes with swatches of all of them on your arm to compare colors as well and if you can show the swatches in natural light for a quick min, we can pause to compare colors. I love all your recs and I am always happy with what I purchase. Blush is one of my fav products
Thank you for the wonderful video. The only two blushes I'm using now are the Givenchy and the Guerlain. ( and the shades we like are the same!!!) I don't think I can live without the one from Gurelain! I also have the Chantecaille ones but I never tried ' turtle'. I'm surprised that you didn't mention the ones from Armani or Haus Labs, those are the ones I'm very tempted by. Any thoughts on them?
I love blush too & have enough for a whole village! I have many of the blushes you mentioned and also enjoy Pat McGrath Labs blushes. Have you tried those?
Hi Lisa! Thank you so much for this video! I wanted to ask you if you have any preferences for cream or liquid blushes. Also, how do you manage applying these powders, particularly the valentino, without it appearing too powdery or matte on your face? Thanks!
Absolutely loving blushes this Summer in many colors & formulas! 😊 My top powder blushes in rotation are the Guerlain Light Pink, the Cle de Peau in Tulip and the Blown Rose, the (old formula) Dior Backstage Pink, and I really do miss my Chantacaille Blush....need a new one!! With blush on my cheeks I feel more awake & youthful. It's one of those items I never skip in the morning! 🌸🩷🌸 So many good ones in your lineup!
I actually do review Chanel blushes! Just not every single collection!! I tend to only pick up pieces I want to add to my collection - however, in terms of their permanent line - I sadly do not like the permanent blushes since they reformulated them :(
Wonderful video Lisa, I agree with everyone else’s sentiments thus far. I will say, you definitely have the advantage with your stunning eyes! A heavier blush application really brings out your blue eyes! I have dark brown eyes so the effect is definitely different, plus I find as I’m getting older and losing facial fat, I need to be careful with blush application. It can almost give a contoured look and I am looking for ways to make my face look more full. LOL quite the opposite of many on YT atm. I appreciate you and your videos!❤
Great video! You really picked all the winners. Cle De Peau blushes are simply gorgeous and probably my fave. Color Pop is definitely an under rated blush. They are beautiful. Hermes blushes are another fave of mine. They have a soft blurring effect on my mature skin and the soft barely there scent makes using them even better. Yes they are pricy, but I am still no where near making a dent in the pan, so if they last that long, they could be worth the splurge. I used to say that was one of the great things about Chanel 's original Jous Contraste powder blushes too. They were impossible to hit pan on, even after 5 years of everyday use and they blended beautifully with a soft glow. Unfortunately, after their last reformulation, I absolutely despise them. Thank God for all the wonderful blushes you mentioned.
Thank you so much, I just love your content because I know that what you suggest is truly quality. It's what you use and have tested over and over again and you really love. It's not always the newest product. Thank you so much.
Great GRWM as per usual! ❤️ Love seeing what you’ve discovered this year! Your blush recs have been on point and look like such a natural flush. I’ve been using the sunburnt blush application for the summer and I love it! I’ve also been using the Victoria Beckham priming moisturizer in Golden this summer and it kind of looks like a moisturizing version of the makeup by Mario bronzing serum. I’ve also been addicted to the summer Fridays lip butter balm in poppy, cherry and brown sugar for a little color for the summer. Thanks to you I have a lot of these on my list to try when I get through a few of my other products ha!
Hi Lisa, Thanks for this review. So out of all of these, i think you are recommending the Rodeo loose powder for under the eyes. And you said the pressed powders were better for blurring. Would you say the Chanticay one (the first one you mentioned) is the most blurring?
Hmmm - I personally don't think I can notice the skincare benefits, but as you stated, it might be because I don't wear this every single day!...however, my skin is NEVER irritated when I wear this foundation and I have VERY sensitive skin
I think the sublimage in the jar is an under eye concealer, as opposed to an all over foundation! I was coming back to this video to watch for your thoughts on some products and noticed that. Thanks for the reviews 😊
They have a concealer and a foundation they’ve had forever in a jar. The sublimage le teint. The concealer is like sublimage de yeau or something like that I believe
@@bjornolson21 oh interesting, I've looked for the jar foundation but not found it, I wonder if it's a regional thing? It hasn't been in any of the UK stores I've been to..
This is the name of the concealer SUBLIMAGE LE CORRECTEUR YEUX. The foundation is sublimage le teint foundation. I got it from a dept store we have Nordstrom.
Ohhh! So tough, but I think if I HAD to choose - the Chantecaille is just such a special formula! I still love the Valentino though, but I don't really know what is happening with that bronzer - it has literally been out of stock for over a year!
Great video as always. I can’t tolerate the fragrance of By Terry products but it looks really pretty. I’m confused about which Persona blush you used. You put the mauve one in your palm but said you were using Georgia.
Hello Lisa, how's it going? 😊Happy to hear about the By Terry. I love their rose scent so I have been wanting to try one of their foundations for a while. Really so happy you got the Chantecaille to try ❤😊I'm always interested in your opinion 😮Oh the Queen Musia
I am shade b30 in chanel foundation do u maybe know should i go shade lighter or the same shade is concealer. I have dark under eyes and i don’t like very bright eyes
Hi!! I would do the shade 30 in the concealer!! I definitely would not do lighter, especially if you don't like very bright under eyes!! I typically wear B30 or BD41 and I picked up 40 and it's perfect on me!
Hi Lisa!! 🙂 Good to see you! I am absolutely loving the Dior Star Filter as well. I've been really getting into more liquid & cream bronzers & blushes this year. I had reordered the Chantacaille Rose Glow & Anti-Aging Duo. Also purchased the Westman Atilier face trace stick in Biscuitt for the first time, Rare Beauty Liquid Blush in 'Hope', and 2 Giorgio Armani liquid blushes in the Red (for a light flushed look with red lip balm) and the Peach shade. I'm also still loving the Chanel Waterfresh Tint and Waterfresh Blush! On my list for future purchase are the Makeup Forever Cream Face Palette and the Makeup by Mario liquid Bronzer!! The CDP cream Blush has also been on my list for a while now. 😊❤
Hi Sarah!!! Thank you!! I am so happy to be back! Hoping I can upload once a week now! I have been so much more into cream products this year too!! Thank you for sharing your favorites, as I definitely want to expand my collection!!! Absolutely love your choices!! You will LOVE the CDP cream blush and makeup by mario products! Some of my favorites! ❤
Yay🎉 thank you for reviewing the both products from Mario! I bought them yesterday! I'm really excited to try them. ❤ i I own the les beiges Palette in light Medium. Very gorgeous product indeed. ❤ thanks for your video 😊
