We don't do 24h shifts in internal medicine.

Do you plan to get a doctorate degree in future?! Just curious. Since in Germany you CAN'T call yourself "doctor" without a "PhD"( as drmed degree in Germany).

As for learning the language, I was born in Germany so speaking german comes naturally to me but you can learn the language as you would with every other language, booking courses via language schools (online, offline), apps, internships, youtube, etc 😊

Hi! really good and also difficult question, I would say that internationally, training in Germany is considered widely good, we do have mentoring from consultants but it is not like the menotorship program in the states. I do speak to my consultants about every single patient every day and we go through their digital files, and there is also a consultant ward round once a week. Procedures like punctures and endoscopy as well as kardiological diagnostic is highly supervised by consultants :)
