Curious if this trip is worth waiting for the cooler months? I see it’s mostly outdoors & this Texas heat is outrageous. I wanted to visit this month of July but I’m assuming it’s not air conditioned, am I right??
That would be correct. It's outdoor & open. I went in late January so it was actually chilly. But if you do go in summer check their website as they used to have an early morning session
One more information about the San Fernando Cathedral is the remains from the heroes of the Alamo. The burned ashes were gathered and placed in a tomb on the left side entrance of the Cathedral.

Hi ! First off appreciate your family's service. Lackland is SW San Antonio not really by anythung , If you want to be downtown you can stay on the Riverwalk (about 20 mins from Lackland, or you could stay in the sea world area (about 15 mins). Enjoy your travels here !
Hi ! Where are you coming from ? Guess it depends. It's definitely a nice Texas getaway but it's more of a local thing, for example it's only 2.5 drive from San Antonio and I grew up going to the Coast so for me it's worth it. If you're a big Selena fan it's also worth it
New braunfels is only 30 minutes away to float the Guadalupe river and cascades caverns and wildlife ranch is on the way. Best place to stay are the domes outside of wimberley hill country. Private romantic getaway at disco ranch. Its listed on airbnb. Absolutely gorgeous

Hello just watched your video, very informative. I wasn’t aware that the mermaid store was to find any beach toys for the little ones. I drove by and bought the kids beach buckets at a gas station when I stopped by to get the beach permit there. Next time I’ll check out the stores. Thanks

Great video! The little church is called a chapel and the dining area is known as the 'great hall', where the ruler of the realm would hold court and yes, dine. The balconies you observed there would have minstrels performing. He produced a magnificent replica of a mid-late medieval château/castle.
