Tolles Video! Stromauf ist das natürlich eine respektable Leistung. Ich bin dieses Jahr die Elbe stromab gepaddelt - von Bad Schandau bis Lauenburg. Du bist tatsächlich bis km 1 hochgepaddelt. Aber wo hast du eingesetzt? Km 200 ist oberhalb von Wittenberg.

I crossed the Elbe several times on my first road trip to the "Ostzone" in 2018. I kept thinking of my Klepper at home in storage! I would sometime like to kayak the rivers of Germany. I would be interested to know on which part of the upper Elbe this terrific film was made. Thank you.
Hi Axel, heftige Leistung. Und die Sandalen haben ja kaum Spuren hinterlassen ... ich bin sprachlos. Hätte ich nie gedacht. Welche Sandalen hast du da? Hab neulich die Halbmarathondistanz erfolgreich bewältigt. Bin ja eher so der Bergläufer. Danach hab ich mich gefühlt wie ein Neuwagen, der jetzt richtig eingefahren ist ;-) *haha* LG Sascha
das Video is der Hammer. ich habs nun bestimmt schon hundert mal gesehen und ich behaupte immer noch, der letzte Schuss war Absicht ;-) Du wolltest es einfach wissen, gib´s zu! Great shooting! How long have you been using a slingshot? I just bought my first but having trouble loading fast enough before target moves. I guess practice makes perfect. :D May God Bless
The reason why it is much preferable to split it is because you want to make your bow in the same direction as the vertical grain. Splitting it allows you to make sure your stave has acceptably straight grain (many trees surprise you with twisting grain that is not ideal for a bow), and that you are perfectly aligned with the grain (no splintering latter).
