I'm happy and sad at the same time that you broke the record because of BYSPEED being Brazilian. But good for us who watch you. Keep going and may more records come your way. God bless you and your family too
I miss being connected to the web 24/7 ! When I do get online I go straight to Tenka and see if there are any new videos! I am never disappointed! What a LEGEND!
Nicely done. 👍 I do have one question though. Is there a reason you didn't add in the flying kick behind the bicycle kick anywhere other than when dealing with Shao Khan? I'm just curious.
The fly kick after bike has a few problems. 1. It is incredibly tight with timing after a bike. If you don't do it near frame perfect after the bike, the AI cheat blocks. 2. You can't do a fly kick after a JK-Bike, because the opponent is in the air and falls after biking, making it miss. 3. The fastest route (open jk bike over projectile > jump in, take a hit, jump in again to PPPP Bike), kills the opponent before a fly kick is even useful. 4. If the bike has pushed them too close to the corner, your distance is going to be too closr and the bike whiffs right through them, trapping you in the corner which gives them a free throw. There is 1 very niche backup situation where it is useful. That's where if you can't IW into a JK Bike crossup AND you can't open jump in to take a hit and jump in again to proc delayed projectile, you can vertical JP >Bike > Fly kick. This WAS only useful against Sub-Zero, until I found a better strat to deal with him. (ppp whiff jump over> PPP Bike > PPP whiff jump over JK Bike). Hope that clears things up. :)
@@DarkTenka cool. thanks for the answer. It felt like back in the arcade days people were landing it rather consistently, but in a speedrun you wouldn't want to chance it. Besides, the amount of damage done in a small number of hits would've made it moot. Again, Congrats. 👍
@@deadlyraver4454 in regards to it landing more often against the AI, if the AI is on an easier difficulty it is far more lenient but it would have a lot of RNG to it. So if you set it to easy, you could probably do it way more often fights 1-7 ish, but the AI scales upwards and will inevitably start cheating you. We always play on the hardest difficulty to ensure the AI is more controllable.
@@DarkTenka Man do I understand the hell outta that. If you play oldschool SNK games, you know about cheating bosses. Even if you play Midway's Cruis'n series you'll learn about just how much fighting is involved in a "driving" game. Way back when I was in Virginia, there was a Tekken 2 machine jacked to max difficulty with a sign that said whoever beats the game wins that console. As far as I know, it didn't happen and there was a pretty big line of contenders trying to get it.
