I ordered the “pillow talk fair” and before it arrived I started watching videos and reading comments and people were saying it looks like “concealer lips”. It arrived yesterday and I am actually super fair and it looked so flattering and a pretty pink!
I was searching yesterday for videos on palette pairing inspiration as I’ve been trying to maximize the use of the palettes I have and keep track of what actually gets used. I did a look yesterday that I really enjoyed with Colourpop’s In Forest Sight x Raw Beauty Kristi and a teal blue shimmer from Nomad’s America’s Parks. I like the matte colors in the CP palette but Kristi only put in 2 shimmers which limit the looks I can get when using it on its own. I just thought about why they might work well together: both are nature inspired but colorful.

I’ve been really trying to use every eyeshadow too! I rotate in a palette and make sure I use every shade before rolling in a new one. I also have a more neutral palette I’m continually using so I can use it in conjunction (trying so hard to completely pan my ABH Mod Ren and Lorac Unzipped which are my oldest palettes.
I bought two of the cabbage sponges as well with the same rationale. I also got the air and water palettes as I could dupe out the earth and the fire. I think as a pisces also a water bender but if I had to choose maybe fire it seems so amazing and scary at the same time. The earth palette is stunning on you!
Look at you with those curls!! So beautiful. 😍 I hope Shop Miss A always stays this affordable. My most repurchased items at the moment are definitely the wonder teardrop sponges; I started using them in 2018 and never looked back (specifically the black one and the purple). The texture is not an exact dupe for the BB, but I've always found the ones from Shop Miss A last just as long as a BB and are less wasteful when absorbing liquid makeup. 👍

I'm catching up here but the Lawless balm in cherry vanilla doesn't have a sting! I have sensitivity to menthol and other stinging substances - I got perioral dermatitis from it before. But that one is such a nice sheer red color, easy to use and travel with because it's a balm, and has very little of that mintiness because it's a different scent.

If you want another bali sands I could send you mine lol. I’ve used it maybe 5 times total but I think it’s too light for me. I keep telling myself I’ll use it in the winter but I never wear bronzer in the winter. I also have a mini in capri coast and I think the formula is slightly different I like it more but its almost too dark for me 🤷♀️

This was a great video showcasing using what you have! I have also been trying to use every shadow in my collection at least once this year. I feel like I often pair palettes together while rotating, getting in the flow if I aim to hit pan on a shade. Lately I have been married to my Colourpop Sage the Day and Mandalorian palettes. Together they create the easiest, natural and very flattering looks for my skin tone (light olive with warmth).
I have the Flower beauty Jungle Lights palette and find to be such a great companion palette! I pair it with Urban Decay Naked Wild West, Fantasy Cosmetica Druid, the Colourpop Villains palette, Sigma Earthy... I've been so impressed with its versatility, especially for a 6 pan palette.
