Hello! This is an update to my makeup inventory series where I compare the size of my makeup collection over time. I try to do these updates every 6 months. Would you consider this a minimalist makeup collection?
You do a great job keeping track of how much you own and it really shows! Your collection is still sensible and not overwhelming, but there’s still plenty of options to play around with different looks. It’s also nice to see someone use up a majority of their products before they expire rather than the consumerist buying & decluttering cycle. Love your videos ❤
Fellow data nerd here I like seeing your stats. I have made a spreadsheet for no pan left behind and tracking uses for singles and to see how long it takes to finish the eyeshadows I want to finish this year and honestly its been fun to have that data to see how its going. I like your point about joy I think if we can be conscious consumers and enjoy what we have that is a win. What you said about blush is so accurate we can always buy one later but they take forever to go through!
Thank you! I took my makeup sponge and patted on whatever foundation was left, then added some Charlotte Tilbury pillow talk lip liner on the outer edges and a clear balm on top ❤️

Great video and beautiful collection! I have very oily skin so I don't use cream or liquid highlighters. But I do have a small collection of powder Highlighters. I love to use them but only on the high points of the cheeks, the Cupids bow, and the bridge of my nose to widen it. At that rate I'll never use one up LOL.
Buhahaha I was recently thinking similar about my highlighter, that I could give it to my grandchildren in 45 years🤣 I've had mine for a year, don't wear makeup often but I have definitely use that thing a lot... But why does it look like I can sell it as new? 😂
@@daisiesandpandas1218 You're funny! True though. Now but I have a few highlighters, I realize I only ever needed one. I just thought oh well I'll have one to match my pinks, golds and purple 💜 😄
@@pajamamama5965 I'm weird in the sense that for blush and highlighter I only think what the sun or my skin naturally does is what a blush/highlighter should be (I find it fun on other people for some reason) this has kept me from succumbing to RU-vid influence and gathering different colours😅 I've started watching inventory videos, becoming aware of how long it takes to use stuff, expiry dates, and even though I was getting attracted to buying different shades of blush and highlighter... Seeing that even my natural colours do not even have a dent in them, I'm going to stop my curiosity right here lol.
