Hi Ryan, thanks for the comments. We only do testing with nHeptane which is also the fluid that Bosch use for their fuel injector testing. It is safer to work with than petrol and it has similar properties. Let me know if you have any other questions.
No reason you couldn't buy a batch and then test to assemble matched sets, afterall, it's what Bosche do with products coming from their Chinese supplier. What Bosche is not doing, is making sure the rejected items aren't going out another door, instead of in to the recycle bin.
I put 96$ injectors in my sidekick. (Set of 4) They work. Only 2 hole vs 4 hole but will never do it again. Mpg down, power down. Undercutting fuel at certain rpms. Spend the money, don't go cheap unless your just going to sell it.
Well, your car most likely has those Chinese parts already in it. "Chinese" is not equal to "Doesn't work" but it's equal to "manufacturing was cheaper than in your country". 30 years in the future China and India will own us all, my friend.
Happened to have the video from 6 years ago in my recommendations, watched it, then immediately proceed to this one and noticed it’s from 2 days ago. Glad I didn’t wait 6 years for this one lol, more about 6 seconds.
I have literally just seen a 6 year old video about cheap injectors and now RU-vid redirect me to a good vs cheap injectors uploaded just 19 hours ago. Im scared
the fact that I found other video after 6 years, 15 minutes after you posted the link to this video in the comments is probably some of the best luck i'll get from youtube recommendations
Well, for starters, in the V8 they were bought for, two cylinders aren't getting any fuel,.... In a V6, the remaining functional ones would lead to the ECU trying to balance the air/fuel mixture from the exhaust sensor data, leading to three rich and three lean cylinders - at idle, it'd run rough as, and on the freeway at constant load, you'd burn up the lean cylinders. New motor in a couple of months with these.
I have purchased a bunch of Chinese replacement parts for my car. I couldn’t afford owning the car if I didn’t. I’ve found 90% of the stuff is just as good and as the Chinese get better at making parts the quality is improving still. I find generalising is generally not a good idea. Point taken though that those injectors are pretty poor. Are all the injectors made in China bad? That’s a pretty big claim!
They bought them on purpose that nasty v8 was consuming to much fuel so Chinese deactivated 2 injectors on the house so they would save the consumer fuel over the life span of the car
