Wow Jason, awesome build video, all that editing to speed up each build step and in between made it seamless watch, the effort is much appreciated mate
Hi guys track started to look like the old days style off mud & grass. You mentioned a guy called Rory Cull, just wondered if he started off in the UK racing at the Worcester car club? Shame you are so far away would love to race around your track. Just about to get into the UK vintage racing with a Re Re Schumacher Cougar, as my son’s old 30+ year old RC10 is a little fragile. I raced with my 2 sons aged then 6 & 8. I am now classed as vintage myself at 67. But just got back into racing after retiring. I go to a small club here in Devon UK. All the best for your Vintage Bash 3. 👍
@@steveharris4233 yes Rory is British. Well known for his accomplishments even at international level. Rory has been gracing us with his presence at these events and is a true gentleman.
Great video Jason! I know very little about the Schumacher line so videos like these I really enjoy. It looks really cool and other than the rear drive shafts it does not look overly engineered. Looking forward to seeing it all painted and out running around but even as it sits now it looks fantastic! Take care and thanks for sharing the experience of the build!
Thank you Adam. I dont really advertise the extent of my rc collection but it's a sizeable one built over 20 odd years with many cars from all the manufacturers out there. I will get through them all on the channel over time and it's really great to be a part of a community that shares with friends so that we can all learn and appreciate the depth of history we all hold dear in the hobby.
Thank you. As mentioned in the video I never believed these existed back when I was first told of them but here we are, 3 kit boxes and a new built truck now featured on RU-vid. It's a good day for r/c in my books.
Thank you Gabriel. It has been a long time coming much like all the cars in my collection which will get videos over time. The Storm2000 is a real pleasure to own and finally have built up again
Thank you Jason. Believe it or not this wasn't planned to compete with the 10T videos people are throwing up out there... but it is good timing I can admit. I watched you open your 10T kit and picked up one myself.
@@Bormac073 this doesn’t compete, it’s hands down way cooler mate. There’s lots of content out there at the moment around stadium trucks so you’re right on trend lol. I love the vintage cars. Cool that you picked up an RC10T. I’ve had to get hold of some imperial tools to build it along with the RC10 gold pan and the CC.
Very very cool build. Looking forward to seeing it do some laps.. what brand of electric driver are you using? I’m on the hunt. Thanks for the video mate.
Thanks for the comment Matt. Im busting to wheel this truck down at Castle Hill in due time and ofcourse passing it to Scott to race at the vintage bash 3.0 in November. I picked up my electric driver from ARI Bakla @ RC HOBBYLAND in Sydney. Maybe he still sells them. They are awesome.
Thank you Mark, I appreciate you watching and leaving me a comment. It was a pleasure to release this one out to the viewing audience and share such a rare truck from back in the day.
Awsome video, and an awsome truck, i would love to find one to run at any truck events over here. Very jelouse of your nib kit. Looking forward to seeing this one on the track 😎
@@rcicons4915 I'm busting to get this truck out on the Castle Hill track for some sweet laps. Thanks again, this truck gets to be one that stays with me in my collection.
Original Storm came out I think 1991 or early '92 (after the Cougar 2). The Storm 2000 would have been released first half of '94 I think. We were still running the original Storm at '94 Nationals at Keilor (January), but running the 2000 by the time of Qld Champs in June, and NSW Champs at Central Coast later in '94.
These are a work of art, one of my mates got one of the 1st ones when he started to release them. So i got to have a good luck at it in the flesh, the quality is insane. Great video and talk through 👍
Thank you Richard. Yes Ruben sure has knocked it out of the park, these cars are stunning recreations and the EVO takes it to the next level. It was an honour to have been asked to help represent the brand.
This is amazing. It's mind-blowing that people have the capabilities to recreate an entire buggy. Lots of credit to Ruben. I'm going to head over to his website now to check it out. Thanks for the video.. Very informative.
@Bormac073 Yep that's one thing l do like about the modern day Jason is the ability to communicate all around the world in an instant! We have an awesome community and its definitely thriving and growing! Take it easy buddy cheers.
Thanks for the video. I enjoyed seeing the Tekin esc in Masami’s car as much as I got to appreciate Ruben’s great work on what is a stunning replica of
Its a fun thing to do and Ruben has put in such an amazing commitment to make these cars a reality and I believe people such as he deserve to have those who can help him, do so. Thank you for checking out the video
Thank you Alexander. Im still far from an expert but at least you get to see me be as honest and genuine and true to not just myself but also the subject matter at hand. It was an honour to have been entrusted with your car and Im sure you will enjoy it many years into the future. Thank you again.
Absolutely Keith. We are both fortunate to have been entrusted with these cars to review and drool over. Ruben has really put his passion into this project and Im glad to be a small part of the puzzle when getting his workmanship out to a wider audience.
It is a really amazing car and they have a ton of great stuff on the site. One of these days I will grab one the their kits from the site, they are too cool and unique not to get one!
Thanks Adam. It's nice to see us YT'ers dropping in on one another's videos and sharing in the positive energy. You also make a lot of great content regularly and I know a lot of people out there enjoy what you're doing also.
Looks like an amazing spot to run the cars, such an awesome collection, as for Keith he’s a great bloke and what an awesome giveaway.. I hate to be rude but I am going to come to the vintage bash this year from Adelaide, I’m happy to just head over for a look and check out all the awesome r/c cars but if could look to find/build something to take and maybe register to enter would you have any suggestions?
@@Bormac073 a few guys run them at the big events here, they never seem to break. Guess so long as you dont crash there ok. No good for me, i like to have a few off 😂
