Hi Jason, Cool story about your early days of racing. I used to frequent ABC at Beverly Hills until they closed. I bought a couple 34° stocks from there back then. Burnt them out fairly quickly in my Optima mid. I raced an Ultima pro around that time too. It was quick and smooth with a thorp gear set. I wanted an XL but ended up getting a JRXT from Dave Smith which I converted to a buggy which im glad I still have.

I remember back in the day when my first car was the turbo ultima, the ball bearing kits were sooooo much $$$$$!

Gotta love an Ultima and the Pro XL always makes me drool lol. Great donation by Jason there, awesome! 👌Will be nice seeing this one restored!👍

The Ultima Pro was what I wanted in the day, as well as a Cougar, for a real racing buggy. Ive still got my Super Stock 34 as well hahaha..its not burnt out though. Have a good break man see you next time!
