I’m not sure what you’re asking. We used these radios in a lot of department stores. We now have, Motorola does not produce those radios any more, that suit various department stores. Let me know if you want more details. Where are you located?
That's hard to say. If the CLP446 is the same frequency band and you have both radios programmed to the same channel. The radios are not all programmed the same. Sorry for the delay in answering your messsage
Hi Ben, The digital DLR radio uses the Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS) technology (900Mhz), which makes communication more reliable and private when compared to standard radios. So to answer your question, no, this is not a Turbo compatible two-way radio. This radio is best suited to schools, restaurants and retail businesses. I hope that answers your question. Let me know if you need or want more information. Where are you located
so why would want to walk around a store with that thay would probley throw you out I have 6 stores that use the 4 channel radios and I lission in every day It's fun thay are with in three blocks
I recommend putting the cable under your shirt to prevent it from getting snagged on things when you work. This can prevent damage to it, conceal it better, and of course be safer because you aren't at risk of catching it on something that can pull you in to hurt you. As for the clip on the mic accessory, I suppose you can put it anywhere you like just as long as you can swivel your head around so that it doesn't yank the earpiece out of your ear, and you can rotate the entire earpiece around if the thinner cable gets in your face too much.
Ibtm, yes there is a VOX mode (needs to be programmed). But keep in mind, when you cough or sneeze everyone hears you. Vox mode can be very hard to get use to.
Can you please suggest best ways to keep radios on you at the industry? Most workers leave their radios anywhere and struggles looking for them when the need be. Maybe some pocket like design or something would be helpful.Thank you
Destiny, Sorry for the 9 month delay in replying. The coverage is limited by the power output (1 Watt). Depending on where your located the radio is built around large retail businesses. As as an example a large Big W (Australia), WalMart / CostCo (US) etc.. Basically an open plan store. You could talk over 3 football fields with nothing in between. 500mt. I hope that gives you some type of idea. They are great for retail, grocery, small schools etc..
