Hi Ben, The digital DLR radio uses the Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS) technology (900Mhz), which makes communication more reliable and private when compared to standard radios. So to answer your question, no, this is not a Turbo compatible two-way radio. This radio is best suited to schools, restaurants and retail businesses. I hope that answers your question. so why would want to walk around a store with that thay would probley throw you out I have 6 stores that use the 4 channel radios and I lission in every day It's fun thay are with in three blocks
