Do u think this is typical with most air nail guns 16/ 18 gauge?
@CNTHINGS
@CNTHINGS 27 дней назад
It's very common on the small gauge nail guns. Also guns not being oiled can make them misfire and jam.

Good project and well done. With material prices as they are, finding material that can be repurposed is a must. For wood, you might try reclaiming some from pallets. Welding on concrete can be dangerous. Any trapped moisture can cause a violent reaction as trapped pressure increases within the concrete.

I cut it out with a scroll saw. You could also use a jig saw, coping saw, or fret saw.

Hey bro. I want to ask how flexible is the cured product? I have a canoe with some flex. I wanted to seal/fill a huge scrape on the canoe. My concern is that the canoe has some give and flexibility would this cause the glue to crack.
@CNTHINGS
@CNTHINGS 2 месяца назад
If it's prepped well and it's just cosmetic than l think it would work. But I don't think I'd trust it to actually fix a canoe. Probably better off buying a little resin kit that's not so thick and a bit of fiberglass to make a proper patch. Might cost a few more bucks but would do a much better job.

Alright people have to stop fucking mentioning that dystopian giant; it's not trying to brand itself as a reputable retailer of quality products, they want to be perceived as a *super cheap* option of maybe-just-decent products. You're literally giving them the best ad they can possibly hope for. ...Or you can do what you want and keep indirectly supporting child labour, slavery and oppression. Can't really stop you, I guess. It must feel nice to blissfully ignore the horrors you support.

I've tried to explain Temu to people but where I live most Americans are "China-scared" and think buying from Temu is selling out America's interests. It's the same stuff in Amazon, most of the time. You're just buying from a middleman in the US that takes a larger cut and so they pass that expense to you. If Amazon supported American interests, businesses, families then maybe I would buy from them. If I can't get it locally, I go directly to Temu. As for the data harvesting... Can't say much there. Everyone harvests your data. Only difference is what each entity does with it. If all they want is to market better then I'm fine with it. But as you mentioned, the holding company has done shady stuff before and I've never known a corrupt company to change for the better.

You gets what you ay for. Some of the things I have bought have been cheep and are going to be used and thrown away. I would never buy anything that I wanted to last for a long time. A better company is Banggood... Their stuff is more money but well orth the rise in price.

My issue with Temu and apps/companies like them (Shein, et al.) is, in addition to the concerns you raise here about data/security, that you just know prices this low can only result from, shall we say….non-kosher labor practices. All these “race to the bottom” shopping apps are supported by horrific workforce conditions and abuses. If something seems too cheap to be possible, it’s usually because it is.

Ty for going out of your way to explain the risk to your viewer about app safety, toxic issue, and electrical items. I don't leave anything that can explode as it stay plug in from these no QC brands. There is a RU-vid video on small fuse set.. 2 amp that won't blow even at 8 amp... That is dangerous

You mention it was quite a coincidence that one day you were searching online for a new mask, and the next day Base Camp contacted you with an offer of free masks to review. That's not "a sign", my friend; that's digital market targeting at its finest. 😄

I may be wrong but I believe that the hinges being on the outside make the lock kinda useless? A couple turns with a screwdriver and you're in!

If someone's that desperate for a drink, they can just have it. I mean, it's made of wood, so some real good whacks with a hammer would get you in there too. Or a saw, for that matter. A blowtorch would probably work. A hole saw through the top, and then you could just lift each bottle out. You could also just knock the pin out of the hinge with a nail and some pliers. Or just get a lockpick and spend three minutes on RU-vid learning how to pick it. Then you could even get in without damaging the decorative cabinet.

What's with "The App"? I've been ordering junk on Temu for some time and never used an App. Use a PC with malware protection. Yes they do sell a lot of junk, like the rolls of plastic garbage bags, they are so thin, if you breath heavy they'll blow away. Watch out for silly priced memory, thumb drives and SD cards may not be what they say. Simply watch what you're buying. I purchased a phone holder which you put on your belt. It works as stated. protects my phone and it's easy to retrieve and only a couple of dollars. Completely ignore the discounts and messages telling you how much you've saved. The only real problems I've encountered are the items which come in multiples. I guess many Chinese don't know how to count, the strange thing is the count is always less, never more??? It's not a rip-off if you compare prices and be careful. There are plenty of bargains to be had, but don't go mad and buy everything you see If you do buy a scam item let as many people know as possible. Likewise with any bargains.

DON'T TRUST TEMU. My wife all of a sudden noticed small amounts of money going missing. We contacted the BANKS FRAUD DEPARTMENT, they said it's more than likely to be TEMU. They're getting report's on a regular basis and they'll be looking into the matter. None of the orders have arrived after months of waiting... NO REFUNDS. The advice from the Fraud Department is NOT TO TRUST TEMU. Check your bank account details.

How do you cut that onto a door that's already fitted in place, without removing the door???
@CNTHINGS
@CNTHINGS 5 месяцев назад
The same way should work. The other option is to drill a hole at one line. Cut a piece of a dowel or any piece of wood that will fit in the hole you just drilled to catch the point of the forstner bit. And drill the second hole to the same depth. Hopefully that helps
