Access 2 Care doesn't provide me any trips. I haven't even made $250 since working with them. Hoping the trip volume will increase. If not, I'm terminating my contract.
Thank you, ladies, for all the information. I'm in Florida do i need to have a specific amount of money on my bank account to be approved or to get the license/permit. Thank you
Good morning. I pray all is well. Thank You for sharing information about how to bc an NEMT. I live in Georgia. I did my research as to what's needed in my area, I don't want to do wheel chairs etc. I would like to do Dr. Appts. Grocery store Transports. Are there any basic coverages you can recommend? I can only do weekends to start off for now bc I'm still working during the week days. I'm just trying to start a NEMT. Newly start.

These types of videos is wats killing the nemt industry. There's only more n more competition poppin up. The brokers have more vendors to choose from meaning other vendors have to keep going lower n lower on their prices until there's no profit to be made anymore. That's kinda where I'm at with my business. Everybody wants to start a nemt business.... good luck!
@@misssy891 I’m sorry you feel that way. I can assure you that if you ask seniors in your community or case managers about transportation options, many would say there aren’t enough. From your message, it seems like you only work with brokers, which limits the growth of your business. I encourage you to explore other referral sources beyond brokers to help scale your operations.
Truth is everybody wants to start an nemt business.. and it's slow for me in my area. I've had 1 employee for 2yrs because the WORK isn't there there. I can't seem to grow. This is why I'm trying to figure out how to expand before I go out of business. I mean charging $18 in town and NOT getting any calls from the BROKER! there's companies that have had to go down to $10 a trip (not including mileage) I mean it's jus ridiculous. Glad u guys are havin better luck tho. Ever since Covid most ppl are doin telehealth appts. That's a big part of the problem of why it's sooo slow these days
I work with 1 broker and it seems like they don't want to pay much meanwhile my car insurance $1755/mo for 3 cars over 10yrs old! And min wage is $15/hr nvm payroll taxes n gas etc! I'm looking to find better paying rides. I'm always worried about private pay bcuz I feel like what are they gna wna pay $20..?!
God rewards me he is always watching so they not getting away with nothing you still have to answer to him but that bad apple is hurting all of us in this business Ty I understand what your saying
I come from the old school your Word is your BOND but still would like that contract and I built my business on integrity that’s the only way I’m going to run it I have miss quoted so what I did I apologize and discounted for that run only but let them know going forward it may be a little higher next time but since I made a mistake I can own it but my computer does it for me
@@denisejackson3884 You nailed it! This is exactly how it’s meant to be. Apologizing and setting clear expectations for the future not only acknowledges the mistake, but also prepares the customer for the next time they schedule a ride with you. They’ll understand that while the cost may be a bit higher, they can count on the quality of your service.
Hey ladies, can you do a video on your step by step guide of how you started? Your first vehicle, who drove, were your clients through a broker, business or private?
Hi, ladies! I watch all of your videos. And we received this decline letter from access to care. States they don't have a need in Chicago area. Due to this merger/ acquisition.
That's because so many do not want to work. If the bus company can't get drivers or monitors to get more busses on the road and children home at a normal time, what makes you think anyone wants to work doing this? This means they have to lose all their benefits, get out there on time, nevermind getting someone to show up for work when the weather is miserableor challenging. I work in student transportation, and the company is so short on drivers and monitors that I literally got the Job in 2 days. Here are other things you need to consider, you are transporting passenger's. You need to pay for the training for the proper endorsements for that, background checks the children's safety, the daily vehicle inspections and requirements, getting the proper vehicles, wear and tear and mechanical issues that arise and thats to just name a few things. Transportation is not as easy as you ladies are making it sound. There is A LOT to consider fornthis type of Transportation.
