Thank you. My husband is an experienced truck driver, 30 years, who is getting tired of those day long trips. I have considered starting a non-emergency transport business that he and I can work at.
That is awesome! We have been hearing from more and more truck drivers in the same position as you and your husband. keep pushing forward we’re here to help.
Again.... I was trying to figure out what I was going to do until I started watching your videos. I'v decided to start my own NEMT company.... Safe Journey Transportation. You ladies are great. I admire you and watch a video a day to educate myself.
Hello, ladies! Thank you so much for creating this whole channel! It’s so inspiring to see women in this business that are willing to help others succeeded! My name is Nakaa, and I just started my nonemergency medical. Transportation company am so excited and eager to get started. I’ve been following you guys and your videos are so helpful. Thank you again. 🎉
Hi Nakaa, thank you for supporting our channel. We love hearing that women are entering this industry. We're excited about your journey, so please keep us updated on your progress. Which state are you starting in?
This was really good ladies. I am a NENT owner/operator in Florida. I’ve been in business for 1 year and 3 months now. I started out with brokers and the beginning was great to me but of course I didn’t know anything and when I did find out I could raise my prices with them that’s when things slowed down. Now they spoon feed me and I’m not happy BUT, I am focusing on getting more private pay clients and being able to only deal with brokers because I want to and not have to. So thank you ladies for always sharing and keep up the great work! Coleman Transportation
I often hear the NEMT market in Florida is saturated. What is your take on this? What part of Florida do you operate in? We are glad to hear that you are shifting your focus now in trying to move away from the broker model. The key is to stay consistent in your marketing efforts and evaluate your pricing to make sure you aren’t under cutting yourself.
Yes, it is saturated. Im in the Palm Beach County area. I have not been able to really find out what others are charging here. I tried doing the calls you ladies shared in another video and the people were not so forth coming with the information 😂. Thank you for all you do and I really appreciate you sharing your knowledge. Be Blessed ladies 😊
You all are an amazing resource!! I’ve been in healthcare for 5 years & have been thinking of trying to start my own business & have landed on NEMT as the venture. This video has been so informative! Thank you!!!

I have experienced doing this type of work, i have worked for several companies before so I know the industry some. Imma watch other videos, and take in the knowledge y’all are providing, and who knows i may go ahead and start a NEMT Business. Y’all seem very knowledgeable about this industry. What kind of information are you looking to learn about Florida? Have you seen our RU-vid video about how to get started in Florida? If not, definitely check it out.
My wife and I have had that issue where a driver (we believe) had issues with taking directions from a black couple and specifically from my wife. I understand your situation there. It's been a learning lesson everyday, lol.
This is why it's important to share our stories honestly and in detail. Many business owners face similar challenges, and by being open, we can connect and find common ground in our experiences. We wish you and your wife much success in business.
Truth is everybody wants to start an nemt business.. and it's slow for me in my area. I've had 1 employee for 2yrs because the WORK isn't there there. I can't seem to grow. This is why I'm trying to figure out how to expand before I go out of business. I mean charging $18 in town and NOT getting any calls from the BROKER! there's companies that have had to go down to $10 a trip (not including mileage) I mean it's jus ridiculous. Glad u guys are havin better luck tho. Ever since Covid most ppl are doin telehealth appts. That's a big part of the problem of why it's sooo slow these days
Thank you, ladies, for all the information. I'm in Florida do i need to have a specific amount of money on my bank account to be approved or to get the license/permit. Thank you
I work with 1 broker and it seems like they don't want to pay much meanwhile my car insurance $1755/mo for 3 cars over 10yrs old! And min wage is $15/hr nvm payroll taxes n gas etc! I'm looking to find better paying rides. I'm always worried about private pay bcuz I feel like what are they gna wna pay $20..?!
Congratulations💫 When starting your business be sure to analyze your market to determine the need, this is going to play a critical role in the success of your business. We are so excited for you and your journey. Please keep us updated on your launch.

I just got my LLC and I’m so excited to get my first vehicle yet I’m so nervous and worried if I don’t get enough clients in my first month and stuck with a car payment.
That’s a valid concern. Work on putting together a plan before you make the investment. If you would like to schedule a call to discuss further I will leave the link for you to schedule a consultation. mjreliabletransportation.com/consultation/
I have over 10 years as a NREMT and Non Medical Transportation driver ( the company that I worked for was ambulance and non Medical Transportation service). Hi jasmine and Monica, I am operating in Northern California and am dealing with brokers right now. Would you say that your business picked up significantly more when you signed up with medical because I am leaning towards doing that?
No, not necessarily. However, It is required to be contracted with the state when you are working with medical brokers. Being contracted with the state will help you maintain those contracts you have in place with the brokers. Also, you are able to bill Medi-Cal directly if you partner with the state.
Thank you for your interest in our services. I have included our website information below. From the link you can explore our services to decide which is best for you. www.mjbusinessacademy.com/
@@Mjbusinessacademy I plan a long time… always planning backup options. In case biz is slow. Ive been told it should be busy here in Dallas but just want a plan b and c.
@@obiohaalukogu4713 When we say 'well over six figures,' we're talking about an amount significantly higher than $100,000. For more context, check out our previous video: 1 vehicle, 1 broker, 6 figures.
