Se dice que la estatua de la libertad, es luz bell o lucifer, el ángel caído del cielo por robar la luz de la sabiduría a dios, para entregársela a los humanos 😢
Okay hear me out. If you are reading this you probably are a fan and fully aware of how out of this world this band is but why they aren't getting the attention they so very much deserved? Here's my theory, this song reflect how they refuse to be a tool of spreading and pushing degeneracy ( sex, drug abuse and much more ). Caleb is a Christian and even though they have song such as sex on fire ( still can't brain why this is the only song this band known for ), it reflects on how much such things affect them. They have several song base on the theme of alcoholism and Caleb mentioned in an interview that he struggled with it. If you are into the Illuminati stuff, this song explain that they refuse to be another puppet of them like so many other mainstream singer who pushing sex, drugs and alcohol. The price that they have to pay is they will never get the recognition that they deserve. They getting shunned by group or person that control the music industry. My two cent and p/s, i am high and fell into the rabbit hole of mass media shaping and controlling the world through hedonism and entertainment
Aint gonna sell my soul to the devil, Aint gonna get down on her level, Aint gonna sell my soul to Lucifer, Tell your girlfriend I aint got no use for her, Ahaaa I aint gonna sell my soul to the devil, I aint gonna get down on her level, I aint gonna sell my soul to Lucifer, Tell your girlfriend I aint got no use for her, Ahaaahaha ahaahaha, When I sold my soul to Jesus no body knows what he means to us, When I got me some of that holy-ghost fire Aint nothing in this world that can take me higher ahaahaha ahaahaha ahaahaha haahahaahahaha
If you are going to write, learn this... their, there, they're mean different things; as does to, too, and two. I could go on. Learn the language dumb fucks.
Maybe they were afraid of controversy... This song is a "response" to all those artists that supposedly sold their soul to the devil.. maybe one of those would take it personally.
DAVROSS44 I can agree with the more Mainstream Part to a Extent. There 4th Album was Amazing so I have to disagree with only the first 2 being good. There latest Album sounds more Mainstream then all of there Albums combined & even still..... It's awesome. Hey though we all have our opinions so I can't knock you.
Totally on point. Y&YM was on point start to finish, and gave us hope for something serious to come out of the shitty alt rock into indy transition we'd been dealing with for years. Aha was MOSTLY great, but showed clear signs of where they were headed. Really though, if you look back at those first two, and everything that came after, you can see that it was four dudes just pretending to be rock stars. Look at the songs across those first two albums, and you'll see that they weren't written by guys who were really that whiskey drunk and coke fueled, but by guys who wanted to be. And they've been shitting the bed ever since.
im a Christian and when i saw the title i was like , "welp, i guess i cant listen to these guys anymore." ( i say away from music that is obvious illuminati and songs that clearly put God down or in courage satan.) then i decided to just listen to it before i judge. im sooo glad i did. the line about getting filled with the Holy Ghost, i love it.
"When I sold my soul to Jesus no body knows what he means to us, When I got me some of that holy-ghost fire Aint nothing in this world that can take me higher" Awesome! Down with Satan and Illuminati!
When I sold my soul to Jesus no body knows what he means to us, When I got me some of that holy-ghost fire Aint nothing in this world that can take me higher
