for some reason, woodcarving is one of the only things i can watch and be fully immersed. i usually have two things im doing at once (watching a video and playing a game for example) but with woodcarving i just cant take my eyes off of it. i feel so centered and grounded, all because someone is making a bird out of wood. thank you :)
Watching this makes me think of whittling sticks with my grandpa when I was a kid. I’d love to be able to make him something like this. It’s a beautiful piece of art.
Dude. you kept me company while i was EV train some pokemons on old gens and the way you took that raw block of wood and slowly giving it the more precise and harmonious shape with efforts and precisions made me feel like we were connecting to each others. you rocks .
