In this video I'm carving a bird (Eurasian Blackbird). I also paint and mount the bird. There are satisfying sounds of rough carving, fine carving, detail work and painting
for some reason, woodcarving is one of the only things i can watch and be fully immersed. i usually have two things im doing at once (watching a video and playing a game for example) but with woodcarving i just cant take my eyes off of it. i feel so centered and grounded, all because someone is making a bird out of wood. thank you :)
this is highly specific byt i'm cultivating a playlist of "carving wood into animals asmr" because my favorite character does that as his profession and I want to dream about him. This is literally the best video for that, considering his favorites are birds. Immediately into the playlist.
@andyantony6638 also love the pattern of referring to characters with no last name as Character Content, with the content they're in as if it's their last name. First Sans Undertale, now Hunter Owl House.
Dude. you kept me company while i was EV train some pokemons on old gens and the way you took that raw block of wood and slowly giving it the more precise and harmonious shape with efforts and precisions made me feel like we were connecting to each others. you rocks .
This was such a nice video; the sounds were excellent, and the finished piece is so cute and well done! The robin at the end was a wonderful way to end the video, too! :)
Very beautiful bird you did, pal! Love the final part when the little robin looks kinda confused when it's taking a bath, haha! Wish ya the best, keep up the amazing carvings and art!❤
Beautiful and well done! I find hand crafts soothing but rarely settle into one for more than a little while. Maybe I’ll pick up woodcarving once i get my dad’s old knife sharpened… and a reinforced glove, and some wood, and some- you know, maybe I’ll just stick to knitting for now LOL :P
It's a Marttiini Eagle knife and in the other video it's a Wild Boar. I have tried cheaper carving knives but the steel on those are not of good quality so they dull quickly, so I prefer these knives. A far cheaper but very comfortable knife is the Marttiini Lynx lumberjack I rarely need to resharpen that knife 😀 Link to their website: www.marttiini.fi/epages/MarttiiniShop.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/MarttiiniShop/Categories/Tuotteet/Designpuukot
