Never in the history of gymnastics has ANY athlete shown such passion on their routine! The energy and passion are unrivaled by ANYONE! I can't tell you how many of Katelyns videos I keep going back to rewatch...just a true pleasure and inspiration. ❤❤❤ May you put that passion in all you do, and you can never go wrong.
Fantastic gymnast! She needs to advocate for more modest gymnastics clothing for women - it’s time that we stop sexualizing and exploiting women in athletics by insisting that they perform in extremely skimpy costumes!! No male athlete would allow himself to be degraded this way!
This woman was the absolute best and I'm so sorry emotional pain and illness stopped her too soon. Like Simone she should still be going. What a wonderful treat she was on the floor. I miss her performance and every time I see her videos, I'm blown away all over again. Such an amazing entertaining gymnast.
Katelyn Ohashi receives so many negative comments because she's built like A REAL WOMAN, not an athlete who has been talked into starving themself. Too fat? She performs some pretty amazing excersizes, though. Too fat - no way!!!! 🎉❤❤❤
I'm almost 70. when I was in my 50's, I walked into a gym in shorts and saw myself in the mirror. My first thought: "OMG my legs are soooooo big!" My second thought? "yeah, look at those tree trunks! they are strong as hell and have carried you through hell and back. They bike, swim, hike, and walk miles and miles. Thank those legs!" I'm so gratified to see this young woman get there way way way before me in acceptance of strength over stereotype.
