She is fantastic. Until watching her routines I had never seen the effect of gymnasts infusing their personalities into their routines. She draws the audience in with her own interpretation of dance, enthusiasm, and confidence. So much so, that she is able to create her own moves and still maintain the particulars related to gymnastics. Her own teammates cheer from the sideline during her routine. The crowd loves her and her boundless talent has created a new way of displaying the routines for all to see. And she is beautiful to boot!
Standards is the answer. She didn't meet the standard they were looking for. If we look at her and think she exceeds the standard, perhaps the standard should be reevaluated.
Because apparently excessive bullying and being as unpleasant and horrible as possible is what 'freeze peach' is all about, we are all now free from consequences according to the internet. The world is a lawless immoral hell hole and who cares what happens to people as a consequence of your words because 'freeze peach'.

Coach Val is a much a superstar as Katelyn. I grew up seeing the skinny little starved bird girls in gymnastics and they always looked ill to me. That was why I did not care for the sport. I felt it was a cruel sport. I love seeing women like Katelyn and Simone, et. al. They are strong, healthy and vigorous. Instead of starving the girls they are encouraged to eat healthy and embrace their natural bodies. Some develop curvy like Katelyn. It is how they were born. But, she is healthy and fit. Strong. And is an amazing gymnast who would have won medals in the Olympics. And she exudes joy. Coaches like Val are so valuable in changing the sport and bringing the true brilliance of a gymnast to the fore.
Ever since I saw the viral video I've had a bit of a celebrity crush on Katelyn, no matter what anyone says confidence and loving yourself is beautiful, to men and women. Seeing her do all she can with a big smile on her face, interacting with the audience makes her stand out, what makes us unique is what makes us beautiful.
How could anybody body shame you you are the most perfect person I think what people don’t understand is the beauty of your legs the strength of them to me you are perfect then and now although your retired you inner beauty will match your otter good luck to you and your future..you did UCLA proud.
I love this Girl, I think she is Awesome at her skills, and for her to Body Shame on herself is sad because there are so many girls stuck in disabilities, and wheelchairs who will never have a chance in life, but it has become all about her, supporting her, and all of us telling her how great, and awesome she is, too bad she can't give back to others , instead of making Access Hollywood her platform, so we can all hear how great, and good she is !!!!

Under IOG rules, new moves cannot be named after their creators until after it has been used in a major international event - possibly only the Olympics and the World Champs. Possibly Euro Champs and Pan-American games or the Asian Games as well - maybe? not sure about those. But I guess the Ohashi Bounce can be the unofficial name...
