Not sure where else you may get this content as it has become very rare! You could try bootleg DVD sellers but they tend to sell by the series and it would cost a bomb
Lol, looking at it now, absolutely agree! But as a 12/13 year old kid, it was exciting stuff, bringing back an old character, no matter the circumstances :-)
Can't believe he was gone for 5 years! Remember him going and coming back and always wondering what happened to him. Think the thing blowing my mind is how long that means I watched it for and how invested I was!
I would like to pay my respects to the final episode of Neighbours. Personally, I was quite disappointed with some of the delivery - Especially For You plays and cue Scott and Charlene - wtf? And three words spoken by Kylie - such a let down! On the other hand, we have to give it up for Guy Pearce - his performance was the show stealer and Annie Jones was great in the supporting role as such 🙂
I was 11 when this aired and remember being so happy Harold was coming back I remember Madge finding his glasses on the rocks when he disappeared, never realised neighbours was such a big part of my childhood
Does anyone know what happened to Marlene? She went on a cruise and never returned... The painting in Jim Robinson's lounge is of Helen's husband Reuben who died very soon after their marriage.
This would of been a good time to feed Harold a load of bollocks about the past.....maybe tell him he liked fast woman and even faster drugs, that he loved drinking and train surfing, convince him he hated religious beliefs and loved bare knuckle fighting with men or women......But no, boring.
I was a child and I remember being so invested in this storyline and how excited I was for Harold's return lol as much as this show was targeted primarily are young people, it was the older characters who made it. I loved their storylines more than the 'teen' storylines.
Good god this takes me back. I remember watching this before I was even in school with Scott and Charlene. Then around this time it was byker grove or Grange Hill 17.10 and neighbours 17.38 to 17.58 followed by the 6 o clock news on bbc1.
Yes I remember this too.I cried when Harold went missing as I thought he'd drowned.I was so glad he returned and eventually remembered who he really was.And I like you watched it on BBC 1 at that time too.
