A virtual conference featuring thought leaders, growers, and organizations from across the regenerative agriculture movement share their experience with tangible, approachable steps that growers of any scale can take to be a part of the way forward.
This is such a marvelous talk. Yes the thousand foot view. Perhaps one day may be as humans can put our toys to a good use instead of a distractive one that day better be soon though. Thank you so much for your work. Keep going
A "Soil Regeneration" definition that includes healthy food is complex...because optimally healthy soybeans can be refined to extract the VERY UNHEALTHY Soybean Oils. One battle at a time. Emphasis on Nutritional Content (resulting from healthy soil and proper production management) will CONNECT Producers with Consumers in a necessary way.
😇that is really the first, if not the only thing, for growers of food - as in let thy food by thy medicine. i don't want to burden the farmer with considerations for carbon sequestration even if carbon sequestration is part of growing great food. besides, there are exaggerations about carbon sequestration, how much is being put down to the soil...blessings to all
Timeless, valuable information. In just 37 minutes, John gives us a vision of plant nirvana and how to get there. No bugs, no diseases. Bonus is additional yield, taste, and plant and human health. Win Win. Thanks AEA!
RC is always great to listen and learn from. Please do a segment on the seed bank he mentions, perhaps there are other seed resources that can be identified too -- that is a critical factor for Regen Ag practitioners -- and find out how to protect against genetic drift (can these labs test seed samples a farmer sends them to verify no modern patent issues got inserted by the neighbor's fields?). Great to see RC has stepped into Landrace and Biology (also prepped in my operation too) -- that will be a fantastic adventure to share. From composters and bait producers I learned how worms stay in the top five inches of the soil (and why tillage disrupts so badly), same with beneficial fungi -- and those are the two features we need under ground to get great crops top-side.
I have long admired this man and his work. Long may the good Lord keep him. I'm so glad and inspired that we have this quality of leadership in the regen ag movement! Thank you, John 🙏🏼
