Крутая была команда! Дерзкая,резкая!💪..как снежный ком набирает свою скорость и мощь спускаясь с горы,так и Ови и его друзья , переехали всех на своём пути. Ждем 900 от великой 8 !!!
The capitals achieved something that is almost impossible. They retooled their team on the fly to help Ovey become the leading goal scorer in NHL history.
Dude… we’re supposed to be a bottom feeder team, but made the playoffs. Pretty good season considering our roster, projections, and expectations. Would have rather done worse so we get a higher draft pick.
we were supposed to blow, tank, and rebuild, and just let ovi farm goals. that should have been the gameplan, so it's just a pleasant surprise to be in the playoffs with zero expectations.
@@Mattejayy This. It should not be understated how much this team overperformed this season relative to injury issues, plummeting veteran production and roster changes. It would be interesting to know the last time a team traded away three members off their main roster without getting a single roster player back in return and still making the playoffs.
Not sure how we can go 2-2 against the Rangers in the regular season but get swept in 4. I kept hearing from the announcers they were going to leave it all out on the ice. Personally, I didn't see any fight from the Capitals in the playoffs. It was a very poor performance. Very sloppy and rookie mistakes. This is going to very extremely unpopular. I really want Ovechkin to break the scoring record, but I also want to win games. I think we need a leadership change out on the ice. Someone that will inspire the team and push them to win games. I don't see that from Ovechkin. It is sad because I am a fan and want him to break the record but I have to be honest with my thoughts.
injuries inexperience and overall the rangers trying harder. Ovi is 38 and regressed this year, no point in being mad over a playoff spot we barely got through divine intervention
@@markus-fo2op I am not mad about it. I fully expected to lose in the first round. However, I think we could have got at least one win out of it. I just didn't see any fight from anyone out on the ice. It was almost like they wanted to lose and start their vacations early. I like Ovechkin but he is basically a log out on the ice these days. Again, I want him to break the record but I don't' want to sacrifice the team as a whole just for him to achieve that goal. That is what is happening. I anticipate us losing at least the next 2 season while the team works for him to break that record.
@@TPGRiT seems more to be a conscious coaching effort, carbery didn't let them goon it up (even after we took several dirty hits) I agree there was no pushback but it's not really about the gm
@@markus-fo2op considering he's sitting here laughing about the whole situation when it's not funny is the part that we don't like. Plus have they paid Trotz none of this would have been an issue we would have lost and looked better doing it
@@MrRedneckcrazy 99% of the video he's entirely serious. Trotz asked for 5 million which would make him the highest paid coach in the league even today, doesn't seem like a price you ask if you want to stay in washington.
Two of the greatest men to ever wear the Caps jersey. Bittersweet watching this now that injury has seemingly consumed the end of their careers. They both deserve another lap with the cup
yes we dont have the best players, yes we are not the strongest team. but these guys give everything they have for the club an thats the most important thing. im proud we made it to the pos no matter what will happen.
It’s hard to imagine anything being more magical than 2018 but that’s the beauty of hockey, anything can happen. How I pray the boys can pull off another cup! They deserve it after everything they’ve been through.
I've got low expectations of going far, but at the same time I would love to say Take That to all the naysayers who are taking us for granted. Let's go!!!!
