Hi Jeffery, long time since you posted. When you do this graph, when you change parameters in layer parameter settings, do you have to do each layer independently? I have 70 layers and have gone through and changed pramaters in every single layer. Now I have to go back to change mark speed to 500 on every layer. Is there a quicker way of doing that?
Since the power factor is not unity (1.0) the amp draw is not relevant. The Watt number would tell something more usable if looking at the /cost/ of running this.
Nice video! I just got a Gweike G2 and am testing it out. At first the laser wouldn't shut off and kept marking even when the marking had ended. I called their tech support and it appears to be their cable. If you unplug the cable and reverse it, it fixes the issue. My question is. Have you tried marking computer chassis metal (electrogalvanized steel)? When I try to mark text on it it works fine, but when I attempt images, it doesn't mark at all. I contacted their tech support and they just tell me to try different materials, which doesn't help if my goal is to mark that type of material. Anyways, loved to see different settings effects on aluminum. Thank you!
Just as others have said. THANK YOU! You just saved me from making a purchase of one tech over another. This video was great because it show what it could do and what it couldn't but in a positive way. I was gifted a D1 PRO 20w, by a friend who bought it but just couldn't get it to do what the ads said. So it sits about 10 feet behind me waiting for my next project. I watch every promotion from laser suppliers and manufacturers trying to absorb everything I can before making the jump into my first laser purchase. Rumor of today is Xtool going to jump into the MOPA laser market. Your willingness to make a vid like this is the reason for my thumbs up and subscribed.
