Great video. I’ve got to say this is the most comprehensive and easy-to-digest video. Explaining these five important factors specifically the top three. This has really allowed me to fully understand the art of lighting. Thank you.
One of the best soeedlight tutorials I've ever seen. thank you so much, Brandon for being such an exceptional teacher. I've always thought artificial lighting was not my thing, prefeering natural light instead. Recently, I told myself that I would try again to learn and I find you giving this much information that just covers the basics and shows all the possibilities of lighting with speedlights. I now know that with intentional practice, I can do so much better.
Awesome Video ❤🎉😊 Thank you 1000 times therefore 🙏🏼😃 Is it possible to see some Hisync pictures? I would like to create some action shots with highsync, and it doesn't work most of time 😅🙈😪 Best regards from Switzerland 🙋🏼♀️
I got mine and oh man!!! I love it!!! Please come out with a larger one soon! I will absolutely purchase it ASAP! The value is just amazing and absolutely blows away any competition! I can’t express how grateful and excited I am to own my Easy Boom!
A 12x 15 would be nice. I’ve used the 9x20, 8x13 and the 5x7; my go to is the 8x13 but isn’t quite large enough. A 12x15 would be perfect for what I photo. I even had 2 9x20 sewn together to give me a very large background for my sport shoots.
That’s a matter of preference. I love artificial light cuz it allows me to create what I want. If you don’t know how to use it don’t say it’s wrong because people pay us to get what they could not get with an iPhone
this is the best flash guide I've watched. Is it possible for you to create a tutorial on how to position the light? perhaps inside the studio with a colored backdrop or such
thank you for the great tips! this was a very helpful video for shooting groups. i’m curious which tripod you are using i am looking for one that easily switched vertical to horizontal. thank you!
super tuto ! great team ! I am confused with the Joel Grimes beauty dish use.White, without diffuser in front and at short distance. I understand the point at short distance for portrait but question is Doesn't it work nicely at same distance than octa-M ? I am interested in white Manny Ortiz beauty dish, not in Joel Grimes one. is it same, only for short distance vs octa-m ? A general remark. Using your 1x4 and several other diffusers, your grids are really too expensive with respect to godox... ones !
I use the 8x8 most of the time, although I still like having the sweep to prevent gaps between the backdrop and the floor. I rarely use the sweep, as it wrinkles, and I don't like that it sinks in when you stand on it. I've used the 9x20 in landscape position (9' H x 20' W) for large dance groups.
This was such a good and well detailed explanation of flash photography. Im trying to get into toy photography and i have a butt load of super over exposed shots. I might not be able use all the techniques (my subjects are usually 6" tall) but the tips on aperture and shutter speed should definitely get me better shots. Thanks!
Just love this video! :-) Seen a lot of videos trying to get more grasp of things, Nice and easy wording so one understand what to do. :-) Hi from Norway
