Doing what we love in our Texas backyard. Heavy on the meat but branching out when we can. Cook, Eat, and Repeat.
We definitely do not know everything, but after years of trial and error we would like to teach what we do know, and get input on what we can all do better to perfect the craft of BBQ, Cooking and having a good time. We are a fishing family, so I am sure you will see some seafood mixed in.
We would love to have you on for the ride, so punch that subscribe button and ring that bell to be updated when we put out another video.
Thank! and remember be good to one another.

I am going to try this process this weekend. 14 hour approximate cook with 4 hour rest I'll put it on the pit at 6pm and shoot for eating it for lunch. Thanks for your video.
Does not look like it can go all the way to the back of the knife. Using the traditional Whetstone bar is better. you can get the edge from front to back all the way.
Boy I tell you thanks for making these videos you do such a great job of explaining everything and saying how important it is to keep the meat on the edge of frozen,
Get rid of big Yoder. Temps all over the place from end to end. Smaller model not so bad. BlazeN grill works very similar heavy construction but incredible temp control 100% of surface. Put pan in smoker. Place bricks or some kind of riser in and then rack. Now you can cook fat up and get advantage of stick burner without the BS. Bottom of brisket protected from deflector shield heat. Will up your game tremendously.
Well tbh, I just am not that convinced with this product. Call me old fashion, along with my Native American heritage but I have always used a whet stone on all of my knives. And seeing as I can shave hair smoothly or skin a buck without any issues, I really cannot see spending $130.00 on some fancy rolling sharpener which cannot even fully sharpen the entire blade (as in near the handle). Maybe in my old age, I just feel that doing things which have worked well and really quickly (as in knife sharpening - as it only takes me one or two minutes -if that, to refresh an edge on any of my knives) for me for over 60 years! Especially considering I used to go to a hospital and sharpen all of the surgical instruments which had started to dull so that the hospital did not have to purchase new instruments or pay outrageous prices for a company to go and sharpen everything for the hospital. I did it for free, as I felt that I could at least use some of my skills to help others out! Especially as this was a hospital which people would travel all the way to so that their younglings could receive the surgical care they needed in order to get better. But for y'all who can't use a whet stone, then I suppose something like this fancy over priced thing might be what y'all need. Whatever your choices you make, I would like to just wish all of y'all a happy, healthy life for you and your friends and kin. Also may the Great Spirit watch over each of you and yours and provide blessings for long health, happiness, prosperity and love! Though, it may not be in that exact order. As the Great Spirit has His own ways of doing things! Also remember He may not give you want you want, but the Great Spirit will give you what you NEED! So don't get all upset if and when that happens because the Great Spirit has a plan for each and everyone of us! Now I know I ain't smart enough to be able to decipher His plans, and to be honest I really don't think anyone else would be able to either (however, if any of y'all believe that you may be able to understand the complexity of His plans, then y'all are a whole lot smarter than me and anyone else I have met and known during my life time. Then good for y'all). But the Great Spirit has each and everyone one of included in His plan and I can tell y'all one thing for sure, I ain't planning on disappointing Him by not being right where HE wants me to be, every step of His plan! No sir, I sure ain't going to disappoint my Creator if at all possible!! As I already know I have spent my whole life making mistakes and trying to make up for them! So y'all take real good self of yourselves and each other! One last little thing, it don't cost a single penny to show kindness to another person, matter of fact, by y'all doing something nice like for example maybe saying good morning or hello, and then complimenting them about how they look or just having a friendly smile when you speak to them while also remarking on just what a fine day it is or something similar, could just turn that person's day from being bad to suddenly a really fine day for them! So go on now, y'all treat other people like y'all would want your mother's, sisters, children, grandparents or even your wives or girlfriends to be treated if y'all wasn't nearby to comfort them when they may be having a bad day or have just had something come to mind! A kind act from a stranger can make a world of difference to someone who ain't having good feelings! So be one of "those people" who by a simple act of kindness, just made someone else's day! I will even pay for someone elses order when I have a bit of extra cash just so they will be surprised in a good way when they pull up from behind me to the window just to discover that they received their order for free. Y'all don't necessarily need to go that far if in y'all can't afford it. But just remember it is the little acts of kindness which can mean the most when someone is feeling down or just having a bad day!!
Hmmmmm, the ad for this shows it cutting through paper CLEAN. Makes me wonder of they used a different sharpener (or a brand new knife) which makes me not trust it.
Thanks for a great video. First Brisket cook tomorrow, cooking on a yoda on the back of my bosses yacht in Spain. Should be interesting. Captain wont be happy about overnight cooking though. So up at an ungodly hour to get this thing started.
What is the difference between the built-in stuffing capabilities let's say the MEAT! grinder by itself using it's stuff feature and buying the separate hand crank stuffer.
It is just much easier to control for me. I stuffed once with grinder and then bought the stuffer. May have gotten better at it but just use stuffer now.
Thanks for reviewing this stuffer. I’ve been hesitant to purchase this stuffer compared to the LEM. This brand certainly is much more affordable but may be more cheaply made. Hopefully you’ll have the opportunity to share a video when you make sausage with it, I’d be interested in seeing that and getting your thoughts after using it on a good batch of sausage.
I’ve made several batches but haven’t filmed it. It works really good. Leaves a bit more in the bottom but I always pack bulk for patties and stuff. I am making some in the next couple of weeks and will post a video.

This sausage looks fantastic. Imma be making this soon and thanks for sharing your recipe. I downloaded the recipe into Microsoft Excel program by grams including the meat, this makes for well distributed ingredients no matter how many grams of meat you pull out of the freezer.
