His pants weren't that bad of an idea, obviously don't put ceramics and delicates there but it's pretty much a big back pocket, if it wasn't see through and if it came in black it would be better. Their main critique is that others would judge you, some 70 year old guy in japan getting dragged to restaurants by his family doesn't care if people are judging him, he just doesn't want to be in pain. Plus most old people look ridiculous anyway, wobbling about with carts, speeders, dressed for their generation. If he marketed those to old people in japan, or old people that have to wait for busses, and cut out the part about putting groceries and other things you don't want hanging from your ass, they'd probably sell big time.
