You may have mentioned this in a previous video. What made you switch to Elite? Just curious because I’m considering trying something other than Mathews. Being left-handed I pretty much have to commit and make the full purchase because lefty’s are hard to find.
Have you thought of finding a Lab radar and comparing them that would be an awesome video! I have been trying to do this to make my site tape. I am stuck cause I don’t know if I should buy the garmin or the lab radar. I like the lab radar cause I will measure all the distance from the point you are shooting from but the garmin is new and might be more accurate but you have to do what you didn’t in the video and I don’t necessarily want to do that. Do you have an opinion on if the lab radar is a decent choice and also reason I have not just bought a lab radar is that maybe in the future garmin with come out with one or update the one they have to be able to measure all the distances from one spot. Great video thanks!
Gotta say, good form on that shot. I watch most people on the range and I don’t even know how they even hit the target. I don’t hunt with a bow yet but I do target archery with a compound and genisis. Happy 4th!
Your 4th of July GREETING, says it all, I use to do a lot of archery practice myself, but I'm temporary laid up from arthritis, I hope to get back my archery practice, I have withdrawals about not practice every day, fly the flag high and proud, I do remember how the bow feels
Open country is deceptive. Those deer could’ve watched you walk right by after cresting the ridge and you’d never know. Also, keep your voice at a whisper anytime your out in such open country if your gonna talk. I’ve heard people talking during hunts at farther distances. Those deer hear awhole lot better then us. Just something to keep in mind. Good Luck on future AZ hunts. Hunting the west is work but it’s a blast
I have the garmin. If i shoot 6 shots over it , i get 4 to maybe 6 different speeds. How do you do that ? Average. Or do you shoot one time and call it good
@@jeffcordero_I replied in your main video about how to do this down range without shooting over the garmin. I put a target at 70 yards. Put the garmin at 60 yards on a low tripod with another target blocking it. I shot over blocking target in to the 70yard target and it worked capturing the speed down range.
This is the far superior way of making a sight tape. From my experience even the quick start option with Garmin gets you there almost all the way. There was a 1 FPS difference between downrange (20/60 yards) and launch speed tape.
@@dmc627 I like them. I have noticed with my offset that they start to curl a little at the top, don’t think it takes away from performance, just an observation
