Im amazed at the level of detail in the organization, really an outstanding job. May i ask what software or services are did you use for the graphs and sticky notes? :)
I wanted to congratulate both of you on your indie game development project. As a fellow game developer, I empathize with the challenges of bringing a project to life. Your game has beautiful art and looks very promising. I’ve already added it to my Steam wishlist, and I hope it goes really well for you. Sending greetings from Spain! 🥰
Since the game is very Ghibli inspired, why not look at how Ni No Kuni did their system? Have characters give grunt or laugh or something before a softer plop text sound effect plays.
I really appreciate the insight into a codebase that's been in development for over a year. It's impressive how well you navigate the complexity! Thanks for sharing. Sad we havent met in a while, but I am looking forward to see both of you again, you are fabulous people :)!
RU-vid gave it as a recommendation. I turned it on in the background while I’m trying to draw at least some assets for my first attempt to create something. How wonderful it looks!
this is my favourite type of advertisement for games tbh, just being authentically yourself and showing your process of game making. love it! wishlisted it. and always love supporting german/german speaking devs :)
gotta love all of the 'day in the life of an indie game dev' videos where 80% of the time is spent not working on the game. i promise you, no one cares
@studiofirlefanz willkomen. it's my first time actually watching this. So, I decided to give it a click. Looking forward to see how it goes once fully done, it's quite beautiful & so pleasant. 🌿🍓
Love the different colored Herbies as a way of differentiating them (like Pikmen) what a nice way of simplifying your original design idea of having different herbies for different areas but still maintaining visual diversity (and low added animation "cost") Great designs!
Hello! We've seen your concerns about the name “Herbies” and we see what the problem is! 😄 We didn't notice it before, thank you for letting us know 🤗 We'll change the name! Thanks again 💖🌼
sadly, maybe want to change the "herbies" name ... could sound like something else. how about Herbbit? I like the visual/mechanic designs though! nice heart shape on face
I'm only at 0:46 but this game already sounds absolutely lovely!!! But pleas reconsider the name "Herbies" it sounds very cute, but also alot like "Herpes" and I think it would be very unfortunate, for such a nice game to always have the sound of herpes to swing with it. That said, time to watch the rest of the video, cant wait :D
I was working on a game design project to apply for game dev university in Berlin but when i go to youtube and see a new Devlog on Golembert, well i had to come here, to procrastinatinate...but i gotta say this game looks so incredible the artstyle and concept is so cute!!!
@@studiofirlefanz actually didnt you two study at the HTW as well? Cause i saw some titles from there ( like Abriss or Dorfromantik) in your last video where you talked about founding...
