I found the channel thanks to the most recent video and really had to check out this one. My mom knows a lot about permaculture, always dreams of having a terrain where she can put that into practice, and I'm glad to finally see a game implementing this and also not relying on capitalist ideas. Other farming sims and similar games tend to feel a bit off to me because while they are marketed often as more relaxing games where the player can escape society, the environment inside the game ends up promoting a similar system to the dominant one in real life. A game like this will work way better for me, so good luck!

From not knowing anything about permaculture before this video, you've made it sound like a really really cool mechanic with a surprising amount of strategic depth that I did not expect after watching your first devlog. It also looks like this game will be quite educational, I hope it inspires more people to try some gardening in the real world!

It looks very good :) In the context of neighbourhood, you may consider allelopathy as well. From wikipedia: "Allelopathy is a biological phenomenon by which an organism produces one or more biochemicals that influence the germination, growth, survival, and reproduction of other organisms." I'm not sure about next point, but you may also consider to distinguish the icons visually for crop status values, at first they seem to me too similar to be distinguishable at first glance. Keep on going with good work.

Great devlog & a great lesson on permaculture! ^^ Very excited about how you'll integrate & balance the system, so it teaches players how things work without getting too much of an effort keeping up with all the plant stats :) I was wondering if you guys started conceptualizing some *smooth* and *beautiful* cursor designs because I think it would bring the extra *polish* to your overall look without too much time investment (in comparison to other things xD)!
