I love how Richard's body language during the epilogue shows what he's thinking in regard to Gerard: "Okay, I don't really get this guy, but I'm glad he's on my side."
@@stadium79 Thank you. I don't remember if I was told about it. Grew up going to watch him at airshows. Stayed at his house in the summertime in Pensacola. He was my cool and mischievous uncle with the awesome house in Florida. I still get to sit with current members families at airshows. I feel blessed.🇺🇸♥️

Dr. Nichols was a jerk! Yeah! Why Helen, Dr. Nichols? What did she ever do to you, you smelly, rat-faced, dishonest bully! You're a lousy doctor! You're a murderer and you stink! Oh I can hear those whiny critics now. "Oh. But he's not real. He's only a fictional character in a movie. Wah. Wah. WAH!" Oh yeah? He still smells, Vladimir! Stuff that in your borscht and eat it! May bullies like him suffer the same fate in real life! So there!
I daresay one of the greatest dramatic thrillers ever. Well-written, well-acted, well-directed, well-musically scored, with gripping subject matter and shot on many locations in Chicago. _The Fugitive_ has tons of replay value. It actually got a Best Picture nomination for the films of 1993. And Tommy Lee Jones won Best Supporting Actor (although Ralph Fiennes in Schindler's List had the _much_ more ranged and nuanced performance).
They killed his wife to cover up that Kimble found out that the new miracle drug that his hospital developed for a big pharmaceutical company was a failure that killed almost a dozen people. His best friend ruined his life to not only save his own ass, for switching the samples to get the drug passed by the FDA, and a stockholder position on the board of directors of said pharmaceutical company. There's a special circle of hell reserved for that s.o.b.
Love Jeroen Krabbe’s performance in this. He plays such a sad, pathetic and almost pitiful figure. He can’t face his former friend like a man, goes for the cheap chair shot to the back, a flimsy gut punch and a few desperate shoves because he’s shit out of options and knows he’s seconds away from an ass whopping…..
