Twenty plus years ago I saw Barry Williams in a convenience store I was in. I asked him, “Hey, aren’t you Greg Brady?” He gave me the dirtiest look and just left the store.
I remember me and my friends making fun of the Brady’s singing and dance moves in junior high in the 80s…but when the 90s hit it was all about nostalgia and what a fun show it was!
My 2 sisters put on our own version of this song for our Mom in honor of our Dad's passing away @ 91 years of age. He was young at heart ❤! We Love you, Dad! RIP BEST BUDDY!
If I recall correctly, they had ordered an engraved silver platter and the engraving cost more than they were expecting, so they were trying to win the money.
So dipsh*t Jan doesn't practice active listening with the engraver, and gets them looking stupid in TV. Plus she's not in timing with the others. Bet Cindy had a big dump in her pants, too
I thin that this where the Brac Bunched jumped the sharked but just before Cousin Oliver. This episode was trying to keep up with the Partridge Family.
I thought, when seeing this ep, it would’ve been funny if Alice had said “Hey, I recognise that guy”, when she saw the host. When I saw this ep,maybe the 3rd time, I realised the actor playing “Pete Sterne” was the same one who played the past love of Alice’s, Mark Mallard, who turned out to be a conman.
Later that evening, Mike and Carol sat Alice down to discuss her watching TV when she should be working...Mike said, "Alice, if you don't get your head into your work, there could be an upcoming 'time to change'......which Greg later wrote into a hit single.
I don't know who wrote this song and I don't really care. All I know is that this kind of uber-cheerful uber-optimistic uber-innocent bubblegum is enough to drive anyone crazy... crazy hating it, or crazy loving it. The songwriter said to himself "Let me get every silly pop music flower power cliche' and 60's soda pop catch phrase into the song as humanly possible." and guess what.... he did.
