Always loved this. The changed choreography shows how his life has changed since he first performed it. Brian is an a amazing skater, he had some rotten luck competing
I have seen Brian Orser skate live twice - once with the Tour of World Figure Skating Champions; once with Stars on Ice. With the latter, he skated this piece. Those who were among the die hard skating fans - myself included - knew this was his tribute to his mom. The arena was silent during the entire performance. One of my all time favorites.
Great skater AND great teacher Yuzuru 2 gold medals and Javier 1 bronce medal and european Champions winer AND Worlds Champions winer. Brian Is one off the best skater off the World.
Hope you don't mind it, but I have placed the link of this video in the notes to my video - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-DkQTfLGWI_4.html
Oh my god, I almost cried because it's so thoughtful and full of depth. I got into figure skating after compulsory figures were removed, but I'm still fascinated by them and respect them.
"Brian has always taken such joy in the relationship his blades have to the ice" she says, and it shows here. This is the most beautiful declaration of love for this sports I've ever seen, or that has ever been done. Such thoughtfulness. Such appreciation. It shows where this sport began and its evolution. Beautiful. Thank you Brian. Bravo!
