i find it hard to justify more than $50 for something easy to lose, and with sealed batteries. i have 2 pairs of JBL headphones now, prior design for the flex and tune - i like the flex more only b/c the tune has extra modes that are too easy to activate. i have other sub $50 headphones with some performing better in some regards at lower cost, still gonna keep buying JBL - each serves has a purpose/device the flex offering is now $50, little less at some places so im picking some up
How is the 300 holding up. Looking at the 300 alongside Marshall's Killburn 2 & Acton 3. For $400 (which is a heavily discounted price where i live) do you recommend this over the Marshall Killburn or the Acton?
I haven’t used either of those so I can’t speak to them but the 300 is doing well I even left it outside in a rainstorm accidentally and it survived fine after it dried out
This is more of a mobile boombox that can get wet that is more like a speaker system for your house. The airplay on the authentics is also a nice feature this one doesn’t have
Is it true it is not possible to use the JBL Authentics app on iPhone of the wifi capability is not connected in your home? I tried to do it, but I do not want Wireless connection as I already have another speaker in my home using wifi. I prefer to just use Bluetooth to bridge the gap between speaker and my cell phone
I've had JBL Endurance Peak 3 for about a year and i had similar problems, but I'd like to add to the touch control problem. so I Recently found the JBL app and I of course connected the app to my Ear Buds, all great but there was an option for the touch controls. I tried changing the format for my touch controls but it would sometimes disconnect my JBL Endurance Peak 3 from my phone, which is just a minor problem. anyways Other than that I'd recommend this to people that work out, or just people that are curious.

I don’t understand how you can review speakers and not know what hi res wifi audio is (or airplay) and how it’s so much better sound quality than Bluetooth. Plenty of people like listening to music in their backyard over WiFi in high resolution, using an app like Tidal, Apple Music, or Amazon music hd
