I’m from St. Louis but live in Mississippi and I’m buying a new 1500 at4 with the 3.0 duramax from Laura in a couple weeks since it’s near my original home
What s the point of having a diesel in that truck? You aren’t going to be pulling or hauling any significant loads with that suspension and wheels. Because you can, I guess. More power to you.
This is misleading all you really showed was one run to blow up a 48re transmission what would be more helpful, is show max torque and hp.the transmission will handle and last 100000 to 150000 . That would be great information!
I enjoy the process builds brother. It’s what made me subscribe in the first place and leaves a sense of “excitement” even without being in person or able to physically enjoy it. Gives ideas for future trucks (just got a 2023 6 months ago, still bone stock and currently enjoying that after driving a lifted truck for 13 years). Looking forward to seeing what you do to the rig, glad to see you back and seemingly as happy and excited as ever. Blessings to you and your’s brother 🙏🏻
I am in a denali just like this one, but not ultimate. I think im in love. The only quirks I have may be the window button...wtf? why? why not roll up too? That could have been a physical button for the camera instead of the button being in the infotainment. Also, no adjustable pedals, another good option for a button in the group there. My 2014 slt had adjustable pedals and that's where the button was, on the left tho. Another thing I think could be better is the side mirrors. Mine are the same as these. I wish the cheap black plastic part was color matched to the truck and i wish the little round helper mirror was built in like my 2014. On stock wheels and tires, i am getting like 650 miles a tank and average closer to 30 with probably 80% long range highway drives daily with no load.
We've been renting to houses to low income families for years. I can tell you, it's not easy. Most of them destroy the houses. Not all of them, but most absolutely destroy them. You will spend more repairing the house than you make a lot of times.
I agree with all you mentioned about the airbags. I had the same Firestone on my LBZ. My L5P I went with Timbrens. Cheaper, quick and easier install with less to break or leak. Basically achieved the same results.
Filled up last week with diesel at sheets in Medina OH for $2.89 gallon. it was actually cheaper than regular gas at the time. wish I could upload a picture of the recipt
The DOT Police officer is exactly correct. I am happy the officer was extremely helpful and nice in explaining things. And props to you for working on trucks to give away. i am also a retired truck driver with a clear CDL A licensed, and you have a new subscriber. I think what may have flagged the officer was the gooseneck trailer. Does your truck have a fifth wheel? Other than that, great video… cheers and God Bless 1 Corinthians 15 : 1-4
love the new video idea to go back to old school car/truck youtube making us part of the process of building a truck or car the way we do one step at a time
@@bostonaviation2010 No issues so far, less than 5K miles still. I'm not new to Diesel coming from a 2020 1500 AT4 with the 3.0, then a 2017 Canyon All Terrain (pre AT4) with the 2.8.
$3.59 locally $3.27 the cheapest in the Twin Cities of Minnesota. I picked up a LML to replace my 03 LB7 in September. I have a list of mods I want to do but trying to find time and $$. Enjoying the process too.
