Would be good if you put a video of the lure in the water and record your rod movements to put over talking about it because as an amateur fisherman, I would love to see an actuall video of it.
The fish can hear the rattles from very far away. So if they get in close and then lose interest at that point, it’s due to sight or scent. I forget who but somebody made a video on underwater sounds and even small bumps or rattles can be heard from 50+ yds. But I agree that this is a quality lure
This is 100% true. I’ve seen a tiny speck of a boat on the horizon, then put my head under water. I could hear the screw so loud it made my head hurt. Sound travels an INSANE distance underwater. Edit: Just looked up how far you can see on flat land (or water) and it’s 3.1 miles. The boat I saw was a freighter that was so far out it looked like it was hovering above the water line, and it was still obnoxiously loud under water.
Ever since ive started watching these bass channels ive been seeing people using 50-65 lb line and i do not understand it... like why? Ive always used 10-15 lb fluorocarbon and ive never had any issues bringing in big bass.. why go up to 50 lb for bass? Is there something im not understanding? Is it because its braid? Ive never used braid
So braid is really good when you’re fishing around grass, it helps get fish out of really thick vegetation. When they get in there even a 2lb bass can break you off and get stuck if you’re using any kind of flourocarbon because flouro just wraps around the grass where braid actually cuts through it. So even though 65lb seems excessive, you really need it to get fish over 4lbs out of thick grass
I used to mess around with tail spinners but never really noticed a difference, but one day my dad and I were fishing against one another both with a weightless 5” stick bait and I had a tail spinner and caught 2 or 3 times as many fish as he did with no spinner definitely made me a believer
New to fishing in 58 yo woman and I want to fish! Going to June lake this summer my boys are hunters so I was invited to go - prolly to be the chef and housekeeper 😂 none the less I’m excited they don’t know I want to try fishing so I’m learning on the down low so I can surprise them with my “mom” skills.
